Located within 500 meters from Promenade Beach, this is a must stay hotel. Though the rooms are not very big the hotel staff will ensure that you do not have a reason to complain. I had initially booked 3 nights at Le Chateau but later extended my stay. The tiger prawns and steak served at the bar was delicious. The bar still retains the old world charm with its solid wood furniture, stools. There are too many over rated restaurants in White town. E if you haven't stayed in Le Chateau, try their in house restaurant. The best part of staying at Le Chateau was the hotel staff. From the security staff to the waiters, bell boys and the manager, all of them ensure you have no reason to complain. Thank you Le Chateau. Only thing missing is a swimming pool but who needs one when you are in Pondicherry.

The property is really well maintained. It also gives you a real heritage feel. Loved it and most recommended. The food is mind blowing especially there Pizza. The restaurant has amazing ambience and the breakfast spread is gorgeous The ease of travel is really a boon. You can literally walk and cover the whole of white town. And even the beach is really close-by. You can walk and enjoy your evening within 2 minute distance.

It was such fun. Very friendly environment and staff. The housekeeping is very nice too. We got complimentary snacks in the evening too which was very nice. It is at a walkable distance to the rock beach and we spent late till night on the beach without the need to think of transportation. Many eateries nearby so no food hassle there too.

Perfect location near city beach. Neat and clean cozy rooms. Good english breakfast, however people seeking indian breakfasts only would be disappointed. Lots of restaurants and shops all around. Staff is helpfull. Made my Pondicherry trip the best one I ever had. Thumbs upp !!

A right hotel when it comes to location, food, stay and cleanliness. Would definitely recommend everyone. Should have extraction fan in toilets though. The rooftop restaurant is good and serves good food.

Wonderful place to stay if you wish to explore white town of Pondicherry. Perfect place near to most landmarks in Pondy. Staff is friendly and the morning breakfast is awesome.
