A very good heritage hotel. Has only 10 rooms but well maintained and designed. The staff and management are very adjusting. The check in and check out time are around noon time. Reached 7AM by bus from Bangalore and they were cooperative enough to allow us check in earlier and check out little late since we had night bus back on Sunday and hotel didn't have other bookings for our room. Don't know how many other hotels would accommodate this much even if they don't have other bookings. It's close to almost all the major spots in Pondicherry and everything lies in 2 km radius except Paradise beach and Auroville which anyways are outside city limits. Food is good and complementary breakfast had decent variety. Just that it's located in Tamil not French part of Pondicherry but I guess one will have to shell out much much more for hotels in French area. Customer centricity is clearly evident whenever you interact with staff. A big thumbs up to this hotel!!

trip to pondy was special- thanks to the staff at Maison. very well maintained property & courteous employees. got v warm welcome, they explained the site seeing places nicely on the map- normally most hotels don't do this- suggested restaurants for dinner and made arrangements for travel. evening cooking classes should not be missed. loved their filter coffee so much- i requested the chef to teach me how to make it. additions to breakfast variety should be made. there were hardly 1-2 things.

It was truly a wholesome experience of living in a heritage property..the staff is absolutely amazing. special thanks to bharati and jaison, you made our stay memorable for sure. the place is very well maintained and the food is beyond yummy. There are many activities that you can partake in which are truly enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for its authenticity and hospitality. loved it

Not value for money. Parking was on a risky small lane on the road side. No view from any of the room. Location is in a congested residential lane, but walkable distance to the main areas of the town. Hotel arranged a cycle rickshaw tour of the city and that was great. Friendly staff.

I have had one of the best hotel stay experiences in Maison Perumal. Its very relaxing and calm. It offers a lot of activities too for travellers like cooking , singing activity etc. The decor of the room is very authentic and traditional. Food is great. Service staff is very warm .
