Mango Hill Yercaud

Dear Management, Stay and Service - 5/5 Breakfast buffet - 5/5 Excellent Lunch & Dinner - 4/5 (Menu was limited but food was tasty) It’s a big property with different types of rooms/villa/castle-type [we stayed in this]. Detailed review: We (2 adults + 2 kids) stayed for 3 days in this location and its a third visit under Mango-hill Management - previous stay was in Pondicherry branch. Pondi branch did a good job and we trusted & booked Yercaud branch at the last minute and without doubt - they did maintained the service and food in this branch as well. Before reaching the hotel, I contacted them and informed - I will be late and kindly arrange the room since we are very tired. Mr. Vinod picked the call and immediately assisted us and asked us to share the details via mobile for check-in, so that we can directly go to the room without waiting for check-in formalities and I requested for dinner menu and shared the items to be prepared by the time we reach the hotel. Mr. Vinod assisted us very well and we reached the hotel, I just signed the form and directed to the room - within few minutes we were settled in room. For the whole day, our kids couldn’t have proper food and requested Mr. Vinod to send the food little fast to the room since kids are starving, you won’t believe - once the item was ready - for each item - one person came and delivered one by one in the interval of 2-5 minutes. I felt bad but it shows the customer service and involvement. Really impressed with Mr. Vinod’s interaction and assistance on the 1st day. Menu is limited but all the items were too good. Breakfast spread was very nice. Few items in the breakfast were outstanding, I informed the manager and they called Chef and I thanked Chef in person for the excellent food. We requested for little early lunch and dinner for kids, without hesitation - they took the order and delivered the food to room without much delay. Really these things should be appreciated. Point to be noted is - doing all the effort during peak hours with full hotel occupancy is a great thing. I have experienced it in different hotel - but they were able to do only when there are no other guests in the hotel, with full occupancy no one is able to do the service like Mango-hill team. Very much impressed with the customer service and attentiveness. It’s really a great team work. I will definitely revisit Mango-hill in future if I happened to visit Yercaud and will recommend to friends as well. Below people are to be appreciated along with all other staffs: Mr.Vinod - Front office : He is just a call away to assist you and very responsible person. Ms.Mohana - Restaurant section. Mr.Suraj - Chef. Mr.Suriya and Sukumar/Gopinath - staffs : Always attended us with smile. Before check-out, I was able to talk to Mr. Titteeswaran - Resort Manager - he explained about other branches/expansion and discussed about limited menu - he confirmed, more items will be added soon in the menu. Nice talking to him as well. Overall, we all had a good stay without any trouble/concerns. Thanks to the whole team and management. They all did a splendid job. Request to management - Please convey our sincere thanks to each and every staff (including room cleaning staffs) and appreciation for the efforts they took to manage the full occupancy during Pongal holidays. Tremendous efforts from all. Kindly keep up the good work and maintain the same, our next plan is to visit Mango-hill new branch in Pondicherry with the same hope. Have a good day, take care. AN EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE AT MANGO HILL RESORT, YERCAUD! In order to have a leisure trip to Yercaud, we reserved “Classic Valley” room at Mango Hills as the location appeared pleasant and peaceful. What a marvellous resort that rendered us this trip as incredibly unforgettable! To begin with... We were received by the Receptionist Ms.Mohana with utmost humbleness and she responded to all of our queries/requirements instantaneously. As the resort and its rooms were designed in the uncommon antiquate style by the French Architect, each and every spot of the resort was strikingly expressive for photography lovers. The room is extra-spacious and the view of the valley from the balcony is remarkable and washroom matched the facility of a 7 star hotel. The entire resort has been well-maintained and groovy... The Club hub for Indoor games is a separate block and houses various games like TT, Chess, Mini Soccer, Carrom,etc. The lawn and garden consists of many exotic varieties of plants,climbers, etc which is colourful . Next coming to restaurant part, they provided us complimentary breakfast . Ms. Archana welcomed us cordially and she arranged our preferable food choice with great hospitality. The way of serving was extremely neat and the food was sumptuous as the food was prepared with great care and concern ( We could see their cooking process through a transparent partition). Thank you so much Chef. All other staff were well-mannered , courteous and polite. My son was eager to enjoy in the swimming pool but it is under maintenance right now. We could not opt SPA facility due to time constraint. Bonfire, DJs,party games will be arranged during weekends. However, one whole day would not suffice for wandering in the resort. We will definitely cherish their other branches located at Kodaikanal, Ooty, etc. And this Mango hill is located here at Pondicherry too (way towards auroville). Never Miss out this Fantabulous Picturesque and pacifying location which is worth your penny and soul unquestionably!

We (family of 3) stayed for 1N/2D in Mango Hill (premium valley View room) We had an amazing experience away from the hustle bustle of city, in a calm & serene ambience. Pros: Breathtaking valley View, Rustic looking building with lots of antique structures within the property, swimming pool, well lit, spacious, clean room/restroom, polite & highly responsive staff, good tasty food (a bit premium priced though), lush green lawns, Bonfire with music in evening, tall view points (especially atop Rani tower - luxury accommodation) Property's plantation visit arranged on request. No cons as such. Property is getting renovated, so looks brand new. Some works are ongoing, seems like it would be full fledged & 100% operational in next 10-15 days. Special mention to Mr John (Front office Manager), Mr Praburaj (F&B/Restaurant Manager) & Mrs Kanakavalli (Housekeeping In-charge) for their exceptional customer service standards displayed. Kudos & good luck to entire Mango Hill Resort staff unit for making our stay wonderful & awesome. Would love to visit again👍Calm & peaceful ambience, very safe for family.

Had a very lovely time, very nice place to stay with family and friends. The property is recently renovated and they have done a good. Very well maintained, clean, peaceful property. Rooms are spacious with good amenities. Swimming pool, TT tables, carrom, Foosball. The view from the rooms are just mesmerizing. Food is good and tasty, you get good options of veg and non-veg. (kitchen is got Timing) The staffs are very friendly and helpful. they speak English, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi etc.. Mr. John the property manager is very cooperative and friendly person, ensuring all his guests are having a good time. overall a good stay and would definitely come back.
