Feels Like Home – Best Place to Stay in Matheran! I recently stayed at Ovi Cottages in Matheran, and honestly, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, it didn’t feel like we were at a hotel or cottage – it felt like we came to stay at a relative’s house. The people there treat you like family, not just guests. The food was seriously amazing! We had both mutton and chicken dishes, and everything tasted just like home-cooked food – full of flavor and made with love. Whether you’re veg or non-veg, you’ll enjoy every bite. I would give 10 out of 10 just for the food! The rooms were super clean and comfortable. You can tell they really care about cleanliness and making sure guests are happy. The bathroom, beds, and overall setup were all perfect. The location is also great – peaceful and close to all the good places to visit in Matheran. After roaming around, coming back to Ovi Cottages felt so relaxing. If you’re planning a trip to Matheran, I 100% recommend Ovi Cottages. You’ll get great food, clean rooms, peaceful surroundings, and the warmth of staying with people who truly care about you. I’ll definitely visit again! What really touched my heart was how kind and caring the hosts were. Sushant is an amazing person – always helpful, polite, and friendly. His whole family is lovely and made us feel completely at home.

This was the best experience I ever had in any hotel. Would recommend everyone may it be couple, family or friends group. Sushant is the best host and he has taken care of everything, he was very kind to be the guide for us, he specially took us to heart point during sunset and made it worth watching. The food was too good and tasty. Would recommend everyone to be here. I am definitely planning another visit soon. Have attached the view from the balcony. Had a quality time there and the swing with the view was worth it. Loved the experience.
