Terrible Experience – Not Worth Booking! Date of Stay: 26th July 2025 I booked this hotel through Goibibo expecting at least basic cleanliness and service, but the reality was completely different. The rooms were extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and didn’t match the photos shown online. Basic hygiene was not taken care of – dusty floors, stained bedsheets, and a bathroom that clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. It honestly felt like we were being ignored. I booked a Deluxe Room, but there was absolutely nothing “deluxe” about it. For the price charged, it was a total disappointment. Goibibo should take responsibility for listing such properties and misguiding customers with misleading images. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, and I’m seriously reconsidering using Goibibo again if such listings continue.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Matheran.They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in at like 9am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.There was playing area and indor games..We enjoy a lot.It was comfortable for families... Childrens enjoyed lot...

Pathetic hygiene of rooms and extremely pathetic condition of bed linen. They charging per room for single night like a 5 Star resort with a decade old model of AC, unwashed linen and bedsheets, rodent poop in room everywhere, unhygienic restroom with no proper flush, unfriendly staff, no hot water and rooms and services are not as mentioned. Please think million times before booking. Room is not even worth and we have paid 10 times the price.

We booked one day before our check-in date, but we got booking in very reasonable rates especially in Christmas and new year season.. also staff is very helpful. Rooms and premises are very clean and hygienic with indoor games .. Overall experience was good.

Awesome experience and feel in the lap of mother nature...Budget friendly and staff were so helpful...Very near to market and can be reached by walk...Kids play area and games were there...Highly recommended for your enjoyable trip🪂

It is very old property, needs some renovation. There were stains on blankets, towel was worn out. The paid amount is not that much worth of it. Good things are-Hospitality, Food Quality. Magician show which was arranged, location.

It was a good peaceful location, it quite near to some points such as monkey point, heart point. The rooms are also nice and has that vintage look. They could fix the bathrooms and windows a bit Also the food is amazing

the property is amazing. the caretaker is awesome. we had breakfast and lunch. the food was also very delicious and reasonably priced. the location is wonderful. very calm , walkable from matheran station.

Our stay at Hotel Woodside is very good experience. People are very much attentive. Food quality was very good. Property is good , need little more cleanliness.

The stay at Nerukars was very peaceful. It is situated a bit away from the Matheran town, which gives a very relaxed atmosphere away from the hullaballoo.
