O'NEST BY THE BEACH

What a great place to stay in Barshiv! Kashid beach is 4kms and Murud beach is about 23 km ahead of this property.You’ve got good restaurants (small joints) and drink stores between 3-3.5kms ‘before’ reaching the property. If you don’t get to explore on your way there, you can always go back and forth since it is close by.The property is huge and is very peaceful. Few things to be mindful of from the point you check in:Point 1: Always make sure to ask for the price/cost for any request/order you place with the staff. Be it a glass of milk, bread butter, a plate of surmai fry or even to have your car washed (watered from outside). especially some basic items like ice cubes lol. This way you will make decisions prior vs. regretting due to the unexpected price.While Amit, Ganesh (Chef) & Prashant are absolutely fantastic at serving you, Bhavesh who is supposedly the manager is not apt. He is confused most of the time and ‘cannot make fair decisions. He wouldn’t even work in coordination with the staff which you may experience too. The staff, majorly Bhavesh were more in the hang of making the property ready because the ‘entire villa was booked for a group for 2 nights on the following weekend. Please expect to hear such things from them which may demotivate you because you did not book the entire property.The rooms, swimming pool, villa, premises were very clean.We didn’t quite like the food taste that we ordered.The pool is open till 9:30/10:00 pm. The restaurant too closes around 10:30pm. Exceptions may be honoured.Private gated property. You would definitely need help with maps to locate this property especially post dark even though it is on the main road.You would still be buying a litre of Bisleri for 30 bucks which I don’t know how many are comfortable paying over the MRP.The property gate starts from the main road, has ample parking once you enter in, then there is the villa and pool by the side. Beyond that, there is a huge garden and at the end, you would see a cement fence from where you have the ‘rocky’ beach. You may not be able to make use of the beach AT ALL, at least we did not, even though we stayed for 2 nights. The view is breathtaking though but please be mindful that you may not be able to get down in the waters.Overall a very peaceful stay and a must stay at the property. I am sure I will stay here whenever I visit Kashid/Murud next.P.S: This property is only available by the rooms on weekdays. For weekends you must rent the entire 8bkh property which I feel is the saddest part.

The hotel is an experience, not just a stay. Based on a first impression, we were taken aback by the poor level of cleanliness and standard of the rooms. It wasn't as clean as we expected, the sheets and the bathrooms could have been better. Even the curtains had stains. Maybe our expectation of a hotel tucked in the quiet corner of Maharashtra was a bit much. However, as we wandered around the hotel, and tried their food, our stay was immediately enriched by what one would call a hospitality experience. The staff was amazing and the restaurant in the hotel made food that one can only dream of. Alas our stay felt like the vacation we dramed of. The cherry on the cake was that the garden and the view of the sea made us feel like we were glad that date saw us here. Romantic views and wonderful staff service.

Hotel is big sized villa having 10 rooms. Check in was delayed by half an hour for one of the rooms out of two we booked. However rooms are spacious, clean and amazing view. One side of villa has great view of mountain and other side has view of sea. Hotel back side has direct access to rocky beach however not really accessible for kids. But spending quality time in that specific area is worth of money you spend for this hotel. Swimming pool is good and usable for family. Food is also good quality and hygienic. Overall one of the best place in Kashid

Beautiful Place. 10 minutes from kashid beach, but has it's own backyard by the side of rock beach. clean pool, and very courteous staff. food is super delicious, so great of them to serve us food by the pool. kitchen closes at 10-11 pm so does the pool. But not that big an issue and it's flexible as well (staff is courteous like I said). rooms are clean, big balconies in some rooms, Power backup also available. Had a super pleasant stay.
