Though I leave American when I come down India I stayed many hotels but not like OLD CITY PG GUEST HOSEL in Varanasi I absolutely beautifull hostel with exclent owner and staff. One simply can close their eyes and stay to enjoy the beauty and the service of the gorgeous hostel experience. Mr. Tahir is a dynamic personality, with great quality , fighting for equality, and everybody's prosperity. Do try and drop into this hostel when at Varanasi.

The Old City PG Hostel. It is situated adjacent to Shivala ghat. I had booked a 4 bed dorm, which was just fantastic. it had good mattress and comfy blanket and a attached bathroom too. The walls are painted nicely depicting the beauty of Varanasi. The only thing that bothered me is that it is a bit interior from the main road and for the first time, you may confuse in those narrow lanes. Overall it's a great place for solo travellers..!

Location is very good as it is near to all great places in Varanasi. 1.7 kms from BHU. 2.1 kms from Kashi Vishwanath temple. 600 meters from famous Assi Ghat. 20 meter from Ganga river. 24 hour helpful caretaker. And a lot more pleasure. Budget friendly.

Good for bachelors exactly on bank of Ganga river. Easy to access the all the ghats . You can spend a good time swimming and sitting on ghats . Very nice. Friendly person gives nice guidelines to travel varanasi at economically

hotel was OK not very good are summer but I recommend another time expect summer hotel was good staff mainly one person but he was very polite and decent the dormattery was superb!!!

I stayed there for a night. The owner was very helpful in guiding me. There is a restaurant nearby that serves decent food. Overall a pleasant stay and very affordable.

Nice place to stay, proper cleaning and receptionist is very helpfull. Hotel is near to ghats and you can see the holy ganga from hotel terrace.
