I'm one of two cousins behind Oraya Mist, a small hospitality venture we started because we fell for these misty hills above Mylliem and wanted a few people at a time to feel what we feel here. Away from the day job of building things, I'm happiest outdoors: chasing good weather, long slow mornings, and the kind of quiet you only get above the clouds.My thing is the unhurried stay. I'd rather my guests do very little beautifully, coffee on the porch as the valley fills with cloud, a bonfire as the light goes, a home-cooked meal sent up hot, than run around ticking off sights. I've set both cottages up the way I'd want to arrive somewhere myself: warm beds, hot water, real views, and no rush. What I love most is handing someone the keys and watching them exhale. If you tell me what you're after, a quiet anniversary, a family weekend, a solo reset, I'll make sure the valley does the rest.
