Jungle Luxury with a KUmaoni Vibe!At the risk of sounding pretentious, I have to say that while we have stayed in plenty of cool Jungle Lodges across the globe, we have not come across any property that is so indigenously chic and oozing delightful luxury like this one! Though we had only booked the most basic category cottage, the GM was generous enough to upgrade us to the posher category suite after reading the articles covering our Travels! And boy oh boy, we couldn’t have been treated to a better reward than this on our first trip together to the Corbett National Park!Nestled amidst unspoiled jungle nature, our bush cottage was a perfect blend of rustic jungle character and stylish heritage charm - with a strong dose of local Kumaoni artwork & handicrafts. There were so many killer spaces within the cottage compound where you could chill out with a drink - or your favorite book - and never manage to get out! The vibrant verandah with a pretty tulsi plant, the beautiful backyard with vintage furniture where you can put your feet up and enjoy a sundowner to the sound of chirping crickets, the private pool that had been baked to the perfect temperature by the forest sun, the seductive sky bed on the roof where you can sleep under a star-studded night sky, and finally - the romantic candle-lit table they had set up especially for us!Like these were not enough, there were so many secluded spaces outside the cottage too - which were an absolute feast for the senses. This plush retreat was so overwhelming, I got drained out just attempting to capture the vibe and character of the place through my Phone’s Camera! And apparently, if you are lucky, the place even gets wild boars and tuskers as surprise visitors at night! Undoubtedly the best way to enjoy the enchanting sights and sounds of the wilderness from close quarters!LOCATION: Located in the Fringe of the forest and right next to all the other luxury lodges in the areaDINE + DRINK: Beautiful Restaurant fully decorated with a lovely Kumaoni touch. A killer Kumaoni thali and a range of local delicacies on the menu. No Bar on site, but you can bring your own drinks. The Evening Chai/Tea setup is a must-try and not to be missed!ROOM: We stayed in108 which was a Premium Luxury cottage, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Sweet view of the Lovely Jungle from the backyard and panoramic views from the Rooftop bed area; SIZE: Very spacious Suite, with a lovely living room, huge bedroom and massive bathing area; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning coolers that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Beautiful tiger clawed bathtub and Stand in shower. All fittings are so tastefully painted in vintage copper color giving the space a vintage luxury from the Raj Era vibe; TOILETRIES: Organic spa-quality cosmeticsFACILITIES: No Gym or Pool. But they have a range of recreational activities (indoor games) and also a sweet Badminton courtSERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all my needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to ABHINAV at the front desk, Sundar at High-tea session, and the head naturalist. And of course a huge thank you to the GM - Mr. Satpal who made this one of our most memorable stays in the jungle!HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. No TV in the room, the perfect way to unplug and unwind.

It was undoubtedly one of the best stays ever! Paatlidun is not a resort but an experience. Starting from the adventurous ride up the hill in that special jeep to the very informative nature walk, everything was worth remembering. It truly brought me closer to Nature. It is recommended for those who wish to be away from their modern technical lives and be closer to natural surroundings. Good spacious rooms, huge bathrooms and activity area. They can improve slightly on service and food charges which were pretty high. Minor flaws can be overlooked!

Best hospitality experience right in the lap of mother nature. If you want a break from your fast paced day to day life then just head to Paatlidun and stay minimum for two days (it will take one day to enjoy your room area and its amenities). Lots of activities to do in and around resort other than mainstream corbett safari. Food is great too. Most of the ingredients are organic and grown there itself.

Wonderful stay at the Property!! Me and My wife enjoyed so much!!Amazing food and Mesmerising view of the nature from every angle!!Hence Overall stay was Fantastic!!
