Pipewalas House | Near Kashi Vishwanath

It's a home stay, don't expect service of hotel.Best part is property owner/care taker Sagar is a nice-guy. They will reach you on the day of booking and guide you to property. Bathroom was clean, Room was spacious, Bed and pillows are nice. I have written this review with positivity otherwise I would ended up with one star ⭐️But following I did not like: Room floor was in cement, not in vertified tiles. Picture shared by owner is of the room where they stay. In Varanasi, most of hotel does not provide Towel and packaged water. Here since homestay, you cannot expect to order food/tea-coffee by owner. Almost, no amenities like cupboard, table, teapoy, except plastic chair. Room need maintenance, find rats coming and going out of room. Also you don't have liberty to return to stay at late night lite 12am. Though it is close to temple, I did not like the location as hard to find via Google Map for first time, narrow entrance to home stay, so many stare cases to climb to reach to room. Main road from maidagin crossing to nandi circle is too crowdy, Car and auto not allowed. Only option is walk or costly rickshaw/toto service. Basically cannot avail Ola/Uber service from hotel location. I would recommend not to stay in any hotel/ homestay from Maidagin crossing to nandi circle, where you will not get any cab/auto service. Behaviour of lady(lady/mother) could to be improved. Main reason for me to not like is Location and unavailability of services whereas who walks, eats street food, return to room by 10pm, they may like the property.

not recommended. room is small for 4 people. no attached bathroom. no amenity available except AC.forced to stay on the 3rd floor.. so many stairs.. under construction building. no hot or cold water available. no wardrobe or toiletries available. The mattress on the bed is not good. Don't expect hotel type stay or services here.The only thing is it is near the kashi vishwanath temple. but you have to visit all nearby places on foot. vehicles aren't allowed and are of no use in this crowd. Don't stay here for a bad experience.

1)room was in 2nd floor, no lift. not fit for senior citizens like us.2)the geaser was installed in the bathroom. 3)no electric kettle and glasses for getting warm water on requirement.4)no mirror was fixed in bath room. the attendent was extremely good in behaviour, he helped at his best by providing warm water in his cooking utensils(aluminium patila) and a bucket full of hot water for taking bath.i felt that the rate charged taken for such type of room is very high.

hotel is in 3rd floor, stairs are steep, not good for older people, number of staffs are less, only one care taker managing the show, no sign board outside, that is why hard to find this property in narrow lane of varanasi. except these all are good. it is overall a good stay. hot water, wifi like amenities are good.
