Overall the experience at Red Earth Kabini was absolutely fantastic. Was very impressed by the fact that 98% of the staff are local tribes. It's an offbeat resort. Food - Pretty much like home made stuff with less oil/spice. Overall very tasty. Cottages - Very rustic with beautiful balcony view opening out into the lush garden. There are a variety of fruit trees in the garden - cashew, orange, lime, sapota etc. There are cottages of different styles, which we came to know of when we were checking out. We were put up in a Balanese style cottage which has the bathroom outside Jacuzzi - one disappointing fact is that there is no hot water, so we did not use the Jacuzzi Staff - very friendly and well informed. Mr. Swamy gave us a great nature walk experience and explained in detail about the various birds we heard/saw Swimming pool - well maintained One small issue we had was TV had no channels subscribed so it was zero TV time ! To sum it - great experience and looking forward to going there with a larger family/friends group :-) the overall stay was fantastic

Excellent Experience. It's a must experience for the nature lovers or for the growing kid. They have awesome plantation of fruits and vegetables. A growing kid can identify which type of plants grows where. In the month of Jan it's a huge terrain to cycle or play cricket or any outdoor games. It's all organic plantation and hence it attracts few mosquitoes and lizards. This can be overcome d by carefully operating lights in the evening.

very good theme based resort. staff are very friendly and helping. so many varieties of food . most food items are made of their own produce from this resort or from the one they have at wayanad. very much with nature this resort is. about 5 KMS of approach road is bad. cost is at high end I think. however they provide amenities also that way. even you got an open air jaccuci in each cottage

Great place to unwind from busy life. It's green everywhere in the property. Swimming pool is well maintained. After swimming you can relax in Jacuzzi which is provided to each cottages. One pain point which is not with the property but with the way to property is last 4.8 km. It's a kaccha road, it took me 20 mins. If you are going in your own vehicle be prepared for it.

Amazing place, the owner Aditya went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect!! Overall the entrie staff were great. Beautiful surroundings within the resort with many different trees, flowers and birds. If you are a nature lover, it's a must visit. Good river view from the cafe.

Located amidst Nature on the banks of Kabini River & close proximity to Rajiv Gandhi national park. This place has preserved nature with utmost care & respect. The chirping of the birds, the majestic trees and the calm serene beauty around the place engulfs you to stay more.
