Regenta Resort Sakleshpur

Worst 5 star resort stay ever, this resort does not have 1 star service even though they call 5 star, filled with idiots as staff (mostly north Indians) who don't understand English or instructions. Please don't visit the restaurant at all staffed with idiots whom I have to tell every time to set the table, had food poison and wasted our vacation after having mushroom masala here, unhygienic cooking and even on mentioning this and asking for help nobody came. I was handed somebody elses food receipt on my room number without my signature on it. Managers should be fired first for hiring such idiots, always hiding inside the office. There's no doctor on call or medic for this remote resort, they are running it like a sham. I am never visiting this resort again in my life Worst service provided by staff, kick out all useless people who don't understand English or understand instructions of guests. It's not 5 star don't come here expecting it and don't eat in the restaurant.

Its not a big property. 1 night is enough to explore. for water theme park they open from 3 PM to 7 PM only. Food quality is below average. We ordered Sizzling Brownie, it was burnt fully, feeling like i m eating coal. Very poor service, everyday we hv to wait min 45 min to get food after order. I think this time is more then expected. There is lot more improvement needed in this area. Also, on our last day, we were about to miss the train due to delaying in serving the food. Event i told waiter in advance that i have train to catch, but still it took them 45 min to prepare kadhai paneer and roti. Totally dissatisfied and disappointed.

Extremely rude, non caring attitude, not ready to listen to your queries, problems, requests, Adamant and uncooperative staffs made my stay horrible, unpleasant and regretful, Royal orchid must have regular sessions to teach their staffs how to talk to guests, For an instance the staff never ever cared who is going in what attire to the water park rides but made multiple rules when I actually wanted to avail this facility. Probably all this fiasco was built by that staff to buy a nylon dress for my kid and to make money out of it. I would never ever recommend any of my acquaintance to visit this resort.

homestay is excellent. very neat and hygenic, well maintained. food is very special, authentic and excellent taste. welcome drink , tea & coffee are good. we had lunch, dinner and breakfast in homestay itself and it is 100% worth the taste. morning nature walk is very refreshing. the homestay location is out of pollution. both veg & non-veg curries, roti, rice and breakfast items are good.
