Residency Hotel Fort

the staff here is beyond amazing. special thanks to rakesh, roshan and peter… i’m sorry i forgot the managers name but they are all so polite and helpful it’s really surprising…. i’m not an easy person and despite my behaviour and crying they did not judge me and believed me and really tried to help me. they all went above and beyond. i probably won’t come back here again that’s because i’m embarrassed of the way i reacted and i did not expect such calm and respectful response in return! thanks for the early check in and amazing break fast. the day i arrived i had a bad panic attack and i forgot one of my meds along with my prescription, they co-ordinated with my grandma and went out of their way to make sure i get my meds on time early in morning. i have a lot of phobias and i’m very sensitive anxious and paranoid… it’s very difficult for me to look past something and ignore it… i really try i swear i do but when i just can’t, no one believes me and i just burst into tears out of frustration. i booked one of their best rooms which was the most expensive in their hotel for my grandmother. i wanted her to have a good experience… and it was worth every penny… the room was just breathtaking with a spacious beautiful washroom… there’s are so many seafood restaurants at walking distance from this hotel… i thought my grandmother can enjoy herself while i was working… and she loved it. unfortunately there was a rat stuck in my vent just above the toilet and the toilet seat would be covered with rat droppings… i noticed it at 12.30 in the night and they immediately came and searched for the rat but there was no rat inside the room, they said don’t worry it won’t come inside the room the vent has a grill… but i couldn’t sleep all night just imagining and hearing the rat running around the vent… my paranoia was at a whole new level… and after no sleep i just bursted into tears and wanted to leave even though they changed my room. and offered to do it again but i just couldn’t get over the feeling that rats are all around me even though they weren’t! but they didn’t judge me. my own grandmother was saying it’s not a big deal it’s not inside the room. but i was determined to leave. they actually even helped me out with my check out and let me wait until i could get myself together to check into the new hotel. even let me use an other toilet because i was scared to go into mine… but throughout they did not loose their cool or get irritated nor were they rude not once they kept saying “i believe you maam i never said you were lying or over reacting. we are so sorry that you feel this way. we are doing everything we can to help please let us know how and what else we can do. don’t worry maam we are right here!” they gave me water helped me into the cab and even said that they are looking forward for my next visit and they actually ment it… but i’m too embarrassed to go back! i’m so sorry for putting staff through this. i’m genuinely scared of rats! but thank you so much for everything. some genuine kindness remains with you forever…

Review : I loved my stay at the Residency Fort, Mumbai and would go back for sure. The stay was good and the staff was also very helpful and friendly. It is walking distance from the CSMT and very close to the sight seeing points. I loved the area wise, to do paper itineraries that they had kept . Breakfast menu was good and the staff there was also helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was that there was metro work going on (no noise) and had to take a long route to reach the hotel walking , but by taxi it won’t matter and it’s not the hotels fault . The area is also very safe and quiet. 5/5

Really its superb trip and enjoyed alot at Hotel Residency Fort. The rooms are good but its very small rooms. Hotel Is situated on main part of city and surrounding areas are well connected. Behavior of all staff is too good and so much attention and care. Tasty and delicious breakfast and so much loved service staff. Overall my stay has been excellent🫰Very warm and welcoming staff who ensured our stay was made very comfortable

my stay in a standard room was extremely disappointing. the room was cramped, the walls were peeling, and the bathroom was in terrible condition. to make matters worse, we were given towels that had stains on them, which was absolutely unacceptable. for all of this, *i can't believe i had to pay. i would never recommend this hotel to anyone.*
