AB's Abode-A Boutique Hotel

The experience was horrible. Not satisfied with the service. The hotel staff weren't ready to accomodate guests. The room was not up to the mark. For the money we paid we didn't get a good experience. The room didn't have more than half the amenities mentioned in the room description. They didn't have towels or anything in the room. The bathroom smelled horribly and when we asked them to clean it they didn't have anyone to do that as well and they didn't follow up either. They just hung up a room freshener and went about their day. They didn't even keep packed drinking water just some regular bottle of water. They say they have daily housekeeping and stuff but didn't look like it. At first the phone didn't work then tv didn't work we had to keep calling the reception and ask someone to help with every problem. Whatever amenities are mentioned its not there. It was a pretty bad experience and also there was construction going on inside the hotel so it was dusty as well. The lift wasn't working. The power kept going off. And everytime we told the reception about the issues they didn't really seem to take it seriously. The staff weren't ready. Initially we weren't even informed by the staff that there was pick up and drop service to go to the main road which is at the hill top as this hotel is located down the hill through a steep way. We got to know through our local cab driver that the hotel provided this service. And when we asked them for the drop they didn't have drivers or the car wasn't available because the manager had gone to the market and made us wait. On the whole a bad experience for our first time in mussoorie wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Pathetic for all possible reasons that you can think can go wrong here at this place....1. No professionalism in hotel staff (they laugh looking at each other and present you a helpless smile as if they don't care about the customer).2. The rooms are dirty, smelling and having seepage.3. No towels, or water or serviceable intercom available.4. Dirty linen, no hangers were provided.5. Check in times are not honored. No rooms were ready and soiled bedsheets and cutleries were lying around in the corridors 2 hours after the scheduled check-in time.6. Informed prior for changing the faucet which had extremely high faucet pressure which wasn't attended inspite of we being not in the room and the room being available for the entire day for repair.7. Every small basics like towels, cleaning and room freshners are not given even after repeated intimations, which are supposed to be done as a practice.8. Our room was the only one occupied on the weekdays, and still nothing was ensured, with the staff whiling their time away.9. All-in-all, if you guys are reading this and still choose this hotel, all the best.

late service, didn't have amenities which are mentioned by the hotel at the time of booking like iron, slippers,shower caps and many more, most of the bathroom geyser are not working (changed my room but still getting cold water from geyser). bathroom doors are not working properly locked myself in bathroom twice .frequent and long power cuts.

It is a very nice place for rest and relaxation. The food is very good. The service is awesome. What strikes me most is welcoming nature of staff. They always welcom with a great smile. Though there are no options to move around yet they are helpful.
