Very worst hotel in chandigarh.....they donot yse dustbin as throw the garbage on the corners of the hotel.....the kitchen mess is messed up...you can clearly see the spider webs above where the chef is cooking....hotel staff is also not cooperative.....toilets are uncleaned and no hygene at all.....waste of money

They should mention if they have a lift or no. My dad couldn't climb up the stairs and they gave us a room on the 2nd floor, and when we requested for a room on the ground floor, they said it wasn't available. My main point is make sure that they mention whether they have a lift

They didnot provide dental or bathing kits, if asked why, they said because**... On many requests we got a soap... The room lock was broken... Bathroom door was broken, we could not even close it... Ac was broken... On persistent requests they changed the beddings but it still was dirty... Blankets were damn dirty... Not at all confortable... Bathroom had cockroaches... It was dirtiest of all... Totally disappointed ... And for everything they turned us down **this is all we will get...

We stayed in the deluxe room. The room maintenance was very bad. The rooms were not properly cleaned. You can see in the pics that the AC panel was broken, the AC water discharge was in the room itself, the condition of the bathroom door and stains on the quill. At one time the pipe of the washbasin also got broken. The deluxe room were no deluxe at all. Due to this expierence we never tasted the food. The hotel staff service was also slow. To my surprise, the hotel manager told me that the deluxe room are like this only and if I want better room I should have booked super deluxe room **

don't opt for deluxe room.... water leaking from a/c and bathroom also not good.....cockroaches roaming in room if u needed to stay in sec 22 there u got other hotels besides this amar but I saw a super deluxe room which was quite good

Hotel Amar offer neat and clean room with all the basic amenities. I stayed in March 2017 and found the stay worth every penny. Food is a little costly but is tasty to make up for it. Would recommend it to others.
