I stayed at Anansa Boutique Hotel by The Kannur Club and got a first-floor room with a breathtaking beach view – the view alone made the room feel absolutely luxurious. It was a delight to wake up to the waves and enjoy such a serene setting. What made the experience even more memorable was the exceptional staff. From the receptionist to the helpers, everyone was extremely polite, helpful, and genuinely caring. There was a small issue with the heater in our room, but the staff resolved it quickly. Anytime we needed assistance, someone was there without delay. We also had a lot of fun playing snooker, pool, and foosball. At checkout, since we were not traveling by car, the staff kindly helped carry our luggage and even stopped a rickshaw for us. Despite me insisting I could carry the bags myself, they didn’t allow it – they really made sure everything was handled with care. The only area where I felt improvement is needed was the Anansa restaurant. The food was quite good, but the experience was average due to a language barrier with some of the male staff, who struggled with Hindi and English. That said, the female staff were very helpful and accommodating, which balanced things out. Suggestion: It would be great if the hotel added more indoor games like carrom, chess, ludo, etc., to enhance the overall guest experience, especially for families and groups. Final Thoughts: I would definitely recommend Anansa to my friends and anyone visiting Kannur – mainly because of the amazing hospitality and that unbeatable beach view. Rating: 4.5/5 ( gave 5 star because of the hotel staff)

We had to face and issue with the AC.. AC was not cooling the room which the hotel can take care in advance even though they gave us the room after half an hour after we reached the property.. But other than that the location is good.. Hotel is well maintained.. Rooms are spacious and have modern amenities..

The property was right on the scenic Payyambalam beach n very near to all the needed places in the city. The view from the room is amazing. Feels like you're waking up right on the beach. Good breakfast , can still add some more options though. Surely will visit again.

Staff very friendly, more indoor activities needed, toiletries not replenished during 2 nd day stay.
