Resort is widely spread in huge forest land, nice place to stay and enjoy the nature. Cottages are moderate in terms of luxury but you may still enjoy because of real forest feelings. Luxury of the service and facilities provided by resort can still be improved. Food (lunch dinner) requires big time improvement. There must be al-a-carte menu rather than buffet always. However, tea/coffee snacks were provided whenever asked. Location is pretty convenient to go towards Valparai on one day and towards Topslip on another day. Little bit costly in terms of facilities provided. Breakfast must be included in this price. Breakfast is charged 150 per person and Lunch dinner 250 to 300 per person. Resort people also provides guide for night safari but on your own car. Good experience.

I booked Cotsvilla resort on 13/08/2017 to 14/08/2017 and after booking I contacted Cotsvilla resort well in advance for the room availably because I was travelling with my family and I am having small kids of Age 5 & 3.I got a call from Cotsvilla resort on 13/08/2017 regarding cotsvilla resort was temporarily closed due to some police raid and they have arranged rooms in some other resort...By the time we came to know that we have booked the resort in the long week end and the next day we came to know that that the resort is functioning and they sold the rooms at higher price due to heavy demand and they shifted ours to other lodges.So the costvilla resort is having no ethics and credibility.So small advice is if you are travelling with family try to avoid Cotsvilla resort.

Guys looking for a neatly furnished rooms with intercom, WiFi, mobile signal (esp Airtel), restaurant room service, swimming pool, dental kits, electric kettles, tea sachets.... KINDLY REFRAIN FROM Booking this Resort. You will be heavily disappointed. Pros: Food (Cheap, Tasty and Homely), Isolated from outer world of network, internet and you can completely enjoy relax in the pristine beauty of nature. Close proximity to Top slip, Parambikulam and even Alliyar dam Mokey falls. Support staffs and people working in the resort are very kind hearted (no complaints with them) Note: Roads leading to the resort from sethumadai (close to 2-3kms) are in worst condition.

Location is awesome, pure raw jungle experience. Amazing place to relax & enjoy in valley of nature. But, be careful of insects & other reptiles. Still it's manager even with kids & family. Food is good, but pure south Indian food only. Sad part id I booked Royal Villa & they offered me small villa on day one, after I discussed with them they offered another one, which was not also Royal one. So be careful from fraud. But overall experience is fabulous. Must go place.

The resort is quaint and lets you be. Once can choose how they want to spend time and relax. It is very open and gives a good sense of space. The surrounding mountain views are also beautiful. Food is average. We had dinner and breakfast. Dinner was quite average while breakfast was good. The clubhouse as such is average, but the service is pretty good. The workers there go out of their way to ensure that you get what you want. Overall, a very free atmosphere.

A decent stay with a good view of hills and plenty of space. The rooms are located in a vast area full of coconut trees.. The rooms are clean.. Lots of insects considering that this is a forest area.. The dinner buffet was expensive and there was no other choice but the food was good.. Difficult to get service because one had to walk to good deal to reach the reception or the restaurant.. The service was not that great

Not to be imagined as a luxury hotel with all modern amenities. Room/ bathrooms are basic, but have a very individualistic feel... The whole place is charged with a certain mysticism - birds, horses, ducks, insects, fireflies and what not... Ideal to get away and be amongst nature... Staff exceptionally friendly and hospitable. Make you feel at home immediately :)

The place is very ill maintained. Broken toilet door, torn pillow covers and bed sheets. A non mosquito infested AC room was given. Location is good as well as the food but very expensive. They even charged full price of food for the child (10 years)!

Cotsvilla has a great ambience to stay in a hill foot location, esp in the evening/night hours. Food is a bit expensive but really good. DG available for power backup. Take their help if you need a taxi. Great outing 😊

Pleasantly surprised by the stay at cotsvilla. Was initially apprehensive by the not so pleasant reviews penned down by previous visitors to the place. Enjoyed the views from there and the entire ambience was pretty good

Very nice place to spend with family and if ur lucky you can sight some deers,peacocks and bisons in resort as its near forest.however i felt food is bit costly as they charge 300 per person for dinner.Rest all was good

The Pearl cottage did not have AC as specified by Goibibo. That was disappointing. Television could have been provided in every cottage for getting News update at least. Food quality and service were good.

Lovely property spread over 3-4 acres. Good food. Rustic amenities. It will be a good stay. Only downside was they didn't give us the food that we specifically ordered and they agreed to provide us.

Very pleasant stay, Areca farm behind room is amazing, Huge place spacious bathroom.Food is average and less options for vegetarian, nature lovers will enjoy fireflies and star gazing

Don't book room without a/c in summer, since it's hot in the summer! May be in winter room with out a/c can be booked
