The hotel was accessible , yes it's not exactly in valparai ,it is near sholayar dam which is 20 km away from valparai , u can choose this room if u want room that's away and if u r planning to go to athirapally u can opt for this route... coming about the rooms and amenities Rooms are of two categories niligiri tahr and hornbill nest we booked niligiri tahr - 2 rooms one was absolutely nice from both outer look and inner look ,.,.. the other one we cant accept it as a room tats worth for ... it has zero privacy , its at the very entrance and next to the reception office , it doesn't have a cupboard at all only a small table to keep ur things,it doesn't have a ceiling fan only one wall fixed fan , tat won't b enough at hot times or day time , it has a false ceiling over tat an animal was passing by on the whole night which dint leave is to sleep , even the washrooms were not tat great .. so small with broken latches the room looked nice , bed linen was clean but the curtains had heavy dirt ,and the was no tv remote, thr was a rat in a drawer box which we saw and left it closed all the time , ... overall it was an average stay .. food we dint try thr- so no comments coffee was very tasty ...

My room was fine but the bed quality was so bad it was dirty and stinking or baby urine. I asked the house keeping to clean the bed and change but even on changing the smell continued to come. During my stay here in the hotel it was raining quiet badly due to which there was no light for 2 hrs and no power back as well. Their was only a few boys in the hotel and the cook was only handling the main things around the hotel. The food was good here. The hotel is located into a remote area and it is located around 20 km from Valparai Junction. In terms of cleaning and maintenance it requires a push and 2900/- fair per night is not fair or value to money for a stay in such hotel, one can get better options in such a fair.

* If you are looking a place to stay "near to Valparai", Forget about this place; this is an hour journey from Valparai. * This place seems to be very good for bachelors, not for the family. * You might need to travel all the way to Valparai for the essential stuff like Food, Medicine, Fuel. Be Careful! * The food given in the hotel is pathetic. * One more issue we faced, Hot water. The time taken to fill one bucket of hot water was approximately 20 mins. Wow! Have to be very very patient. You will get all kind of silly explanations like "Water pressure is low due to the height!" * One last remark on mobile network availability, Except BSNL all other network will not be available in this area.

Our stay over there was good one. Location Wise its very good and near to beautiful Sholayar Dam. Ideal for somebody who intend to visit Athirapally. this is 20km away from Valparai. The food was very tasty but only issue is the repetition of the (Dosa) same for both days, yet it was good. The incharge/ manager Mr Prabhu was very helpful. He was very quick and prompt in attending all our needs. Hardly there was a gap gap between the requests and actions. Thanks Mr Prabhu and the other staffs too were very prompt.

Good for stay , its away 23km from Valpaarai. Nice to (2 or more ) family stay . Food ok , water service to be improved , while ordering food repeat twise on quantity and follow up must . Non Veg Gravy Superb. Room service boys not listening properly. Payment only Cash , cards not accepted . No network connection except BSNL.

We stayed for 2 days. Boys and services are ok. Food service and taste are excellent. I strongly suggest to improve the following : 1.basic room cleanliness including pillow cover and bedspread. 2. Water supply.3. self s and lofts.4.intercom phone.5. education about hygiene to room boys. 6.card payment

The stay was at it's best. The caretakers of the property were very welcoming. Food was homely. They were ready to serve horlicks when asked even at 10 in the night. The cozy weather , location of the property and the morning coffee was awesome. They were very friendly and always up for helping.

I had good time with family here on june while heavy rainfalls. it is an average homestay but gud service and beautiful location near at Sholayar dam. Rooms are not value for the money.... because of the room, I can give rate only 3 stars. Gud service and nice food. Thanks to Goibibo team.

rooms were dirty, blankets are smelly and there was a leakage. not worth for what we paid... they cleaned the room after we check in. overall average accommodation we have got. friendly staff and amazing food...

Fantastic trip we had. The surrounding locations were too good. Dams, tea gardens, birds etc. Hotel and food was good and value for money. Nature lovers will admire the location for sure 😊
