Denwa Backwater Escapes is the perfect place to escape from daily routine and get closer to nature. Situated around 130km from Bhopal certainly a perfect weekend gateway for people in Bhopal and Indore. For others looking for 2-3 days outing this will suit the best. Surprisingly Satpura Tiger Reserve is biggest Tiger reserve in central India by area and also has huge variety of species both birds as well as animals. The backwater view is amazing from the Hotel. I stayed in cottage but other rooms are also equally good. Cottage has a balcony facing backwater and a terrace. Rooms are spacious and the look of jungle tent but a luxiours one. The best part is food though variety might be limited at one time but its yummy( crispy karela..never thought karela will be tasty) and healthy. Also it was very helpful for my kids as milk was on demand as well as they went a step further to make arrangement before timing whenever the kids were hungry. Staff is caring anf helpful. The place has very limited network and no TV/WiFi. That makes it a place out of this world to forget everything. I certainly intend to come again with larger pack :)

Well, staying there for 2 days was an amazing experience to be with nature in a well managed lodge. The first thing was food which was really outstanding and very healthy food u will have here i.e. fresh fruit juices, fruits, mouth watering deserts.. We had booked a cottage which was really very peaceful and full of amenities needed.. Staff was excellent, very co-operative & polite Had taken a balinese massage which was also very rejuvenating and the massage boy Tok from Assam was very talented.. Overall it was a wonderful stay at Denwa Hope to come back soon..
