This was not so good experience for home stay. Then property is decently sized with almost a dozen rooms. We booked 3 rooms. Rooms had attached bathrooms with geyser fitted in all. Rooms were clean bu the washrooms were in a mess. Spider webs here and there with no clean washbasin or toilet seats. We visited on long weekend and the hotel was facing a serious shortage of staff. Every order was delayed, breakfast not served till 11 in the morning. They also have a sister concern property whose catering is also done by here. The staff was courteous though but it lacked service. In the morning itself we requested for fishing equipment; but after we are back from expedition we ere told that the equipment is not available. Food quality was Ok.. mutton barra was outstanding though. Ironically in the trout valley we did not get trout fish to eat even though we requested it every day. For every goof up, the hotel staff would put the blame on shortage of manpower. I must say that you look for an option other than this one. The only good part about this property is its location (very near to the river) but I believe that is the case with most of the properties there.

One of the best hospitality, we have experienced so far. Mr Negi & his team are superb. In terms of location, ….what a view of forest , valley , river and so on. The food quality is testy yet without spice (we asked for that) and they are always ready to help. Location is such that you will love to extend your stay. They have a small garden, where you can just relaxed viewing the valley, streem & forest. They have balcony too to have the same facility. Cost wise it is too good . It is neat & clean. I stayed there from 22nd to 25th. As I have a booking for next destinations , else extended. Even they arranged milk for my kid. What a test & purity of that. All natural. If you want something artificial ( hospitality or others ) please do not come , but if you want pure peace please do come. All photos are taken from the balcony / premises / garden. We stayed for one night at this homestay and booked two grand deluxe rooms at reasonable cost. Location is pretty good. If you have plans to visit jalori pass then it is a good choice as jalori pass is just 10 kms from here. Rooms are really nice and owner is very friendly and makes sure of a comfortable stay. Food was really good and dining area is beautiful. There is a way down to the river also where one can enjoy and relax with only river sound. Staff is really helpful.

It is a peaceful, cottage kind of stay by the river side. Dev Conifers has clean rooms (bit small though) and bathroom, common dining area, clean kitchen. No Wi-Fi but who needs one in such a beautiful place. The area belongs to the property owner and can be used to laze i all day next to the river. Food that they serve is really good and reasonably priced. Owner (Sonu Bhaiyya) is polite, helpful and a great host.

Pros - A perfect home stay situated on the river bed who loving peace and nature loving. gud hospitality . especially for bachelors who want to enjoy in apple garden , snow covered hills(about 10km). cons- 1. it is around 32 km away from main kullu so little outside. 2. you will not found any restaurant near to place. but you will not miss as food is too gud. 3. no sport kind of activities in this area.

It was a good experience overall, both the stay and the interaction with the family that runs this place. Food here offers local flavours and is served hot, made by the family.The hotel offers all requisites for a warm stay in the winter months, including room heaters, hot drinking water etc.The most memorable experience here was spending time with the family's dog "cherry".

This Home stay and cottage is placed at very nice place near the river. If you reached there in night and early morning once open the window you will find the nice scenic beauty. Owner Mr. Negi is also very nice person. Food and hospitality is very good. They serve very Hot and tasty food. I realy enjoyed my time in "Dev Conifers".

a very pleasant experience, would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a place in and around Tirthan valley. Placed on a ledge with the river meandering at the foothills of the place. Though fishing is available , but the scarcity of fish is a dampner.

Paradise in himachal it's all about location. The location of the place was amazing nearby river, forest and peace of mind. What else you need for a vacation. Must go place will visit back soon :)
