This resort is good for family, couple and friends too. There is no any negative thing which i can tell based on my stay. All staffs are friendly. The gesture given by manager and staff cant be described in words. This place is approx 30km from the main city but the area of resort is soothing and located on an isolated place surrounded by natures and mountains. The food is really superb(Thanks to chef). Whatever the stuffs provided there are of best quality and taste. There was not any single food, which i have any complaints. Really amazing place. Visit for sure and stay and enjoy. We like the gesture given by the staffs. There were no restrictions in terms of enjoyment and chilling in this resort. All the staffs were cooperative. Planning to visit again in future😊

The place is amazing. Use the Bangalore - Belur road to reach here. Roads are better laid. Talking about Machaan - wow - their staff has amazing hospitality. There's no element of a bad attitude displayed by a single member of their staff. I personally appreciated the way Prasanna explained the whole Makara Sankranthi information with such a goodness. Everyone in the staff is polite. Food is great - of course you gotta pay a slightly premium price considering the location you are being served such delicious food at. If anyone has a good budget and wants to enjoy serenity, please go to Machaan. Only feedback to Machaan authorities will be yo include some sort of a transporter only for old aged men/women - maybe a buggy or a wheelchair

We had 2 nights stay in Machaan Plantation resort in Sakleshpur & it was fantabulous. Peaceful & remotely nestled resort with super courteous staff,awesome food and serene environment. We were visiting in rainy season (non stop rain but very pleasant green cover of mother nature) & even In room ordering was gently taken care by the helpful staff.. Near by places to visit are "Betta Byraveshwara Temple" which is like 4 kms away & Abbe gundi fall is 7 Kms away... Must visit resort nestled amidst mountain view ... Thank you for the service & hospitality. 🙏

We had an amazing time in the Machaan plantation resort. We were there for our 2nd Anniversary and we wanted a peaceful place, less crowded.Machaan was cherry on top so calm tranquil surrounded by greenery, hills which made our stay absolutely soothing. Aswak took us for trekking and evening bird watch. It's totally on your luck to get to watch different birds. We got to witness a few. Overall Aswak is a good guide and the resort is tidy and well maintained. I can recommend folks who want a peaceful time away from the city hustle. Peaceful environment

enjoyed the stay. peaceful. food is good, rooms pretty clean. but difficult to find the location ( gives a wrong location using GPS) no sign board at appropriate places. located about 21 km interior to the highway thus poor connectivity. cost is on the higher side(not value for money) hotelier are not very keen in encouraging activities like trekking, falls.

Excellant location where one can see a fantastic view of the mountains. Excellant and polite staff, especially Prasan who guided us during trekking to the mountains, and Sumit who took us for a walk inside the compound. Rooms are well kept. Good restaurant.

The Rooms are quite good and there is well maintained swimming pool apart from that there is nothing else , No activites nothing. will be a good one for couples but not for groups.Food is just ok , the spread of the buffet is not great.

The place is really exhilarating. The mornings are calm and then the resort also has bunch of activities like pottery, nocturnal walk, plantation walk. You can also relax by the swimming pool with an amazing view of western ghats

Resort is good. Very great hospitality. But it is too interior and not good for kids. But it is very hygiene. According to me it looks good for couples and people who like calm and silent place.

The room was not good as there was some leakage in room and i booked 4 rooms and same problem in all rooms, Hotel located on the hills. Rest everything was fine, Staff and services was good.
