In case you are planning to visit Vagaman, Illikkal kallu, Marmala Waterfalls, then this property is a perfect fit. The house is located at a great location overlooking the deep valley and adjacent to beautiful rubber plantations. The house is aesthetically constructed with all amenities and my stay has been great. I will recommend this house to anybody planning to visit areas around Vagamon. The in-house caretaker Roy & Jickson have been very accommodating to all our requests and provided great hospitality during our stay in MistywindValley Resorts. They not only suggested great locations nearby, but also helped with cabs/jeeps to take us there. I will suggest that anybody visiting this house go with a box of sweets so that you don't feel guilty that you are not giving anything for the kind of hospitality Roy displays. What really surprised is the way Roy got us great Kerala dishes from his house on a daily basis and also gave us Jackfruits (different varieties) as a good gesture. Do visit Vagamon Meadows, Pine Valley, Thangalpara (for the misty winds), Marmala Waterfalls, Kattikayam Waterfalls from this place which is in close proximity. Thekkady and Kumarakom are other locations little far away. Its been a very memorable trip for us and if I come back to Vagamon, I know where to stay again. Thanks a lot for a lovely property and great hospitality.

The property Manager Mr.Roy called me around 11am on the day of check-in and told me that our room will be available only after 7pm. He claimed that the guest who had occupied the room will be checking-out late. After so much of arguments, Mr.Roy said he will call us back after speaking to the other guest. But, he didnt. As I had already checked-out from my existing location and heading towards Mistywindvalley, I was terribly frustrated. I didnt want to spoil my vacation with bad temper and hence decided to check-in as requested by Mr.Roy. Finally when i reached the property, I was provided with a normal deluxe room instead of Bamboo Family suite room which I had booked for. Since I was out of energy and frustrated, I did not get into any arguments with Mr.Roy. The property did not have any TV channels subscribed and Wifi was also not available. This Property is located amidst rubber tree plantation which makes the location/rooms humid and not as cool as Vagamon or Munnar. Property is very much isolated and locating it with the help of Google Map itself was tiresome. This property cannot be categorized as Resort. However, food was excellent.

The best Weekend Getaway We had a memorable 1 night stay here. All the arrangements for our family get together was excellently executed. Staff was cordial and helpful . Property is beautiful. A good place to chill and be away from the hosh posh of the city life. The place is well maintained by the authority and gives the real feel of KERALA. Secluded and probably the Best Resort in Kottayam and Idukki Region. Illikkal Kallu, Kattikkayam Waterfalls, Ilaveezhapoonchira and Marmala Waterwalls are the best attractions to visit nearby to the resort.

Stay was good they served us welcome drink, they have vegetarian and non vegetarian options plus they served buffet menu. surrounding place was very nice. We didn't explore that much in the hotel but room was very good. Location of the hotel was not that the main area of the city but resort was near to the city.

Beautiful location, very comfortable stay and great hospitality. The rooms were comfortable and the food was homely and very well made. The swimming pool was well maintained and functional. Kudos to the team for the experience. Will definitely recommend for a small break to rejuvenate..
