write a review review - i recently stayed at hotel tiwari ji's new vijay palace in ujjain, and my experience was a mixed bag. the staff at the hotel were absolutely polite and courteous throughout my stay. they were helpful and responsive to my needs, which made my stay comfortable. however, the room upkeep was just average. the room was clean, but it could have been more maintained. the furniture and fixtures were a bit old and worn out, which took away from the overall ambiance. the biggest letdown was the housekeeping. it seemed like the housekeeping staff were overworked or understaffed, as the rooms weren't cleaned thoroughly. overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly option in ujjain with friendly staff, hotel tiwari ji's new vijay palace might be a good choice. however, if you're particular about room upkeep and housekeeping, you might want to consider other options. *pros:* polite and courteous staff *cons:* average room upkeep, poor housekeeping.
