This could have been a paradise, if these people could have known how to run a hotel. The location of this place is good with the river flowing on one side and surrounded by Mountains. That's it and there is nothing else good about the place. It looks more of construction site and all place is messy. There are no food options - you will only get bread butter in breakfast and same vegetables in dinner every day. This place is little far away from the main area, hence you have to bear with whatever they provide. If you have any kids with you, please avoid this place, 1. they can hurt themselves because lots of dangerous construction material lying here and there. 2. There is very very little food options (you have to tell in advance even for milk, because they will have to bring from the market) 3. There is no phone etc. in the room for every small requirement for child, you will have to go to their kitchen 4. There is no room heater and night becomes cold (Kids can not play and have to confine themselves to the bed). There is no one to supervise and it is all messy place. We would strictly suggest to avoid this place.

Booked it Specially for a Camping Experience. Just got an experience of Living in a Tent. On our booking day , there were many people already there. Camp staff could have arranged a nice bonfire(They do arrange it but it was just namesake).. could have arranged some games... it could have been happening but it was very dull experience. I will not recommend it to anyone as its not worth ur money.Even dont go for food and breakfast here.. they are not worth it.Just a Km away there are good dhaba to eat .. you can go there to eat. It was good from point of location.

If you love peace and serenity, this is the place to go. It was quite an adventure to stay in tents with a river flowing on the side of it. Amenities and food are not of world class standard. But this is understandable considering the remoteness of the place and considering that it is accessible only during summer We really didn't give a damn about it as we were totally mesmerised with the sheer beauty of this place. The views were breathtaking with snow capped mountain peaks and river flowing in the background . A must place visit for all.

one of the most beautiful location in sonmarg. Right on the side of river. scenic beauty at its best. we were the only couple in the entire resort. and the place was under renovation. there was no proper cook so food was pathetic but one of thr most generous and helpful staff ever seen.

This resort is really situated in a lovely landscape. I give it a good rating and value for money.The food can be slightly better service a bit faster. Shortage of staff in the resort. Overall experience was awesome. I will recommend friends to go there.

The location is perfect and staff is also very good. Only 10 tents are there .. Some more being built .. No issues with the camping and staff but the area is open and not covered .. One can feel the security issues due the current turmoil in Kashmir

Very good location of Camping resort but it is expensive as you stay in a tent and toilets are also just ok...Staff is very caring and helpful and hospitality is great..they should just work on their hotel cost

This resort was in a remote area so faced problem regarding some facilities like complimentary breakfast or food, water supply & network availability. Otherwise; good enough.

Basically Sonmarg is good place to stay . Ther is noting special efforts by Resort . They can do better then this.
