Hotel Sukhsagar

Our stay in Hotel SukhSagar was quite comfortable. Service was excellent and the food in the restaurant was by far the best food in Daman. The condition of the rooms was quite satisfactory given the prices. i wont go as far as saying that the rooms were excellent but they were good enough for the prices they were available at. All in all..a nice budget hotel. But Daman itself is not worth visiting. Daman is not really much of a tourist place..there is nothing of tourist attraction as such..i was mislead by online reviews into visiting Daman and was dissappointed to the core. There are mainly 2 beaches(Jampore and Devka) in Daman that everyone mentions and trust me when i say they are the dirtiest and most dissappointing beaches i have come across so far. The water is almost black which might make u wanna kill the person who suggested you to visit. No water sports whatsoever. Localites can be found drinking on these so called beaches.They hardly qualify as beaches. The forts or any other thing mentioned as 'must to be visited in Daman' on any portal can just not make u find them worth visiting. I visited in October 2015. The weather there was quite hot for most of the day but pleasant at night which is quite normal for any given place. Now that i have visited 'Daman' i very strongly regret visting Daman and feel i would much rather have spent my time and money on some actual tourist place.

The best part of Hotel Sukhsagar is, that it is centrally located with excellent accessibility to everything a person needs! It is well maintained and managed as the owner is personally involved and in touch with the guests to comfort them, the food quality and taste is exceptionally good and reasonable, the rooms are also very reasonable with excellent room service. Cleanness and hygiene is also well looked into. I have been to Daman many times and found Hotel Sukhsagar the best, good value for money and time spent. Looking forward to stay here the next time I visit Daman, as it is the place where you can enjoy with family or friends.

When we checked in, we found the room very unclean. But the staff was very cooperative to shift us from our Non-AC Room to an AC room, without any additional charges. Also, even after we checked out, they allowed us to keep our baggage and collect the same at night. The service provided was excellent and the staff was very cooperative. They value customer satisfaction.

Great value hotel , very near Taxi stand and Nani Damon Beach. Rooms are large , and have all basic amenities. They also have Balconies which is not very common in Damon so you can enjoy drinks at night . Friendly staff . How ever hotel does not have a lift so may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties.
