The River Edge Corbett

Good things -First of all I would like to thank them as I mistakenly booked the rooms for the date prior to my actual visit, I immediately called them and they modified my booking for the correct date, this is really appreciable. -Location of the property is good -spacious and nice rooms -service quality was fine, staff behaved nicely and had good nature, just to mention I asked for a glass of boiled milk after 10 pm for my baby and a staff person arranged it for me -there is access to the river at the backside -property is big with large lawn area and had many trees which provides natural touch to it Things that need improvement -Other food was ok but we asked for less spicy food in dinner clearly, they served Dal full with red chilli powder, my family was not able to eat it and we had to leave it as it is after tasting it. That said, when I told them about it, they served Dal cooked in cumin only for my kid (no extra charges), thanks for it but it would have been appropriate if they hadn't charged us for spicy dal which we left as it is or re-served it. -Breakfast was extremely expansive, we ordered veg sandwich and to my surprise it was very small in size and Rs 180 each. Dinner items rates were reasonable. -We booked 1 river view room and 1 premium room, and their most expansive river view room was like public view room. We were not able to enjoy the view as we could not open door or curtains due to the sitting area adjacent to it. Live music was also being played there so there was no chance we could open door or curtains. I feel I wasted my money booking this expansive room. -There were few spider webs in room, bathroom door was dirty, otherwise cleanliness was fine. -they charged GST on food bill but did not provide proper GST bill, it was hand written bill, I noticed it after coming back home. Overall stay was fine, not excellent, will give 3.5/5 rating

stay was nice , they need to work on their premise cleanliness and add some more attractions to the property. also there’s no view from river side room , no use of paying extra for booking. food was also oily. other than that it was okay.

property was good with good play area but river access not good.property is big so staff attendance was too late.not hygiene bathroom but property is beautiful

the room is not clean . i booked a room river front but no water in river also overly charged. 3 start hotel and charges are like 5* not at all worth staying
