Savana Lake Resort

Hello everyone, now this one is gonna be a bit detailed review of my experience at Savana Lake Resort. 1. First of all the location is not that far from Nashik but the road from Wadivarhe/ Raigadnagar was not good. 2. The resort is quite beautiful. We had booked Standard room through ************and we got this room as shown in pic 1. I got bit confused as I thought it was a villa/ cottage. So basically I was happy with the room given to us. 3. They welcomed us nicely. Room was neat and clean and bigger than my expectation. 4. We played in the swimming pool and lawn area which is very well maintained. 5. Though we visited the place in summer, it didn't feel that hot. 6. The lake backwards, mountains, trees and greenery are the things that catch your eyes. 7. I think it would look even more beautiful in monsoon. Now the disappointing points: 1. I think resorts location and construction and all have to be beautiful (that is the basic thing as people want to feel the leisure) but the "service" should be equally good. And I was bit disappointed by the service. 2. We were totally clueless as to what to be done and at what timings for we were not guided properly. 3. Swimming pool was closed when we wanted to swim and there was no inter-calling facility to call the reception from pool area, so we had to call from our phones each time we wanted something. They don't even provide eatables/ juices at pool area. The changing room was dirty. 4. They don't provide basketball/ badminton etc. games on the ground and to ask for the same you again have to call the reception from your mobile phone which was irritating. Even after asking for the same, we didn't get basketball to play. 5. Indoor games not properly maintained. 6. Food was okay. Not too good. Since the place is located near village they should arrange some local dishes too. 7. Alcohol is not provided at the resort (which is totally understandable as they might not want to disturb the peaceful environment they have maintained so well). But since we wanted to celebrate our anniversary, we missed that thing. 8. No mobile charging point available near the bed. 9. Less no of staff, so they were taking a lot of time providing the service. 10. No wifi. 11. They were charging Rs ** /- for water bottle having MRP of Rs ** /-. And I was shocked, as even if you add service tax, this and that, charging 100% more than the actual MRP is totally illogical. 12. At the time of check out, they were asking us for full money though we had paid for the accommodation through ********, and could only understand our point when we explained them. (What is this???) Overall, We were not that satisfied with the experience. We chose Savana over Manas, now I feel I should have chosen Manas.

We booked this resort for 11/11/2017... On reaching the resort, we were informed there is no booking ....Mr. Manickam Savarimuthu, GM at the resort initially informed us that 1 room is still available even though no booking is in our name. We informed him that we are speaking with ... customer care and will get that room booked. He encouraged us for doing that. But later when goibibo agreed to book any room at any price,he denied its availability ... He wasted our 3 hours by giving different information to us and goibibo. At the end, he spoke very rudely .. shouting loudly "I will not book" repeatedly for 4-5 times. We had to return to mumbai and our entire weekend plan got spoilt. I have been to so many resorts from 5 star to simple ones but never had such bad experience with any resort. I dont understand how management team of such beautiful resort is keeping such rude and egoistic GM at reception. I would not recommend anybody to go to this resort unless you want to face such pathetic experience with a diplomatic manager who does not have any sense of hospitality and customer centricity. ...

HI I came with my family furst time to this resort and it's very bug and full of greenery. we had booked deluxe room with breakfast fir 2 nights 3 days and the breakfast was ok not many items In buffet. They have a play area for kids badminton and pool area for everybody, swimming pool which was clean and overall good place to stay exact opposite lake view and awesome climate and beautiful flowers. They have a boating facility also but because of lot of water in the lake it was closed. But I was disappointed only with one thing that the road to reach the resort is very bad so if u have your own car then it's good or you can't walk in that road it's fully muddy. they have a small parking space also for cars. I loved staying here.

We stayed in this resort for 2 nights, had great time. It's location is great, great weather, helpful staff, good food and clean rooms with view. This resort is great for couples and families with kids of all age groups. Plenty of activities to do. I had booked executive room which has awesome view of lake, felt room was bit small as per my expectation. I requested Manager to upgrade my room to Deluxe cottage, He agreed for it and I got to choose cottage of my choice as I had checked in in Friday. Food was great, service staff was very attentive and helpful. We had booked room with all meals as it is located away from hustle bustle of city. I will definitely go with my kids again in some time.
