Shree Niwas is by all means is a budget stay. Likes: 1. Cleanliness 2. Interiors of the room, 3. The hospitality of the caretakers, 4. Spacious room.Dislikes: 1. Far from the main market/town center (15 mins walk), 2. Fewer amenities: one towel for 3 people, No wifi, No hot water (you need to pay Rs. 50 per bucket of hot water) 3. Scope to improve interior settings: No hooks within the room to hang clothes, One chair only, No Tables, very spacious balcony can be used, 4. No western toilet (hence not recommended for families / ppl who have knee or other issues).

Near to the city and public transport, friendly staff, clean and calm rooms, I love this place! ... A very comfortable place. ... Small & comfortable room. It was a pleasure staying at this Brand new property, which is 10 minutes walking from the Market. Shree Niwas Cottage is a nice hotel with excellent food and service. Overall the experience was brilliant and enjoyed or weekend getaway a lot. I will definitely stay there again.

Room Owner Vishal Dhebe is really very helpful and always replies quickly on call in case of any query while reaching to cottage. They treat us like a family. They provide excellent home made food with very reasonable rates. 15 minutes walkable from market. Room and washroom was new, neat and clean. Blanket, Cousin,Bed Sheet also neat and clean. Excellent experience to stay with Shree Niwas Cottage. Highly recommended

it's too far from matheran railway station, almost 1.5 KM walking distance.. Don't book if You're with family.. it's too far to reach.. no food arrangement, it's at residential area (Indira Gandhi Nagar) Mobile network issue is also there.. plus they charge for hot water bucket.. which is not fair.

The location of the property is on the main road and on the hilly side. The ambiance of the property is superb. They were also co-operative and just like our family members. If we used to order food they bring the food from outside. Overall I had an outstanding stay with my family.

Best place to stay Shree nivas cottage net & clear. Hardly 10-20in walking distance from matheran to Nivas cottage. Mr Vishal very helpful& very nice pic person. Alyas ready for help. In future my next trip again stay in same cottage. Total 5 start

We had great stay here. We stay here for 1 night. Good and group of 3. Neat and clean room and bathroom. Its near Myra point and in center of Matheran. 15 min from Main market and ticket counter.
