i had booked singh palace residency, purnia through goibibo for myself and six other family members for our stay on 27th april 2025. unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and far below any acceptable standards of hospitality.here’s a summary of the issues we faced:no response from hotel reception:on arriving in purnia, i attempted to confirm the hotel’s exact location by calling the reception number provided in the goibibo confirmation pdf. i called twice, but no one answered either call, which made the initial arrival process very stressful.no manager or authority present:on reaching the hotel, we were shocked to find no responsible authority present—not even a manager. when we inquired, the staff casually informed us that the manager was at his home and couldn’t be contacted.booking not recognized by staff:despite having a confirmed booking for 7 guests, the hotel staff seemed completely unaware of our reservation made through goibibo. they questioned which platform we had used, which was both confusing and unprofessional.unhygienic and unprepared rooms:the rooms we were shown were in an appalling condition—dusty floors, stained bedsheets, pillow covers, curtains, and even dirty cupboards.none of the rooms were clean despite showing us 7-8 different options.some of the acs were not working properly, and the remote controls were mismatched or missing altogether.one room had a hitachi ac, but we were given a voltas remote and told it would work universally—clearly untrue.ac access controlled by staff:what’s more shocking is that the acs were controlled by the staff, who turned them off whenever they felt like, citing “power cuts” as an excuse. lack of clean blankets and supplies:we were provided with insufficient blankets for 7 people.the ones we did receive were smelly and unhygienic, clearly not washed for a long time.uncooperative and disinterested staff:from the start, the hotel staff showed a lack of concern, were non-cooperative, and acted like they had no accountability. even after repeated requests and complaints, there was no action taken.conclusion:our stay at singh palace residency was nothing short of horrible. i strongly request goibibo to take this matter seriously and reconsider this hotel’s listing on your platform. experiences like these damage the trust customers place in booking platforms. my family and i felt extremely let down and humiliated.kindly initiate a review of this property and take appropriate action.

As per hotel they didn't have any information of the booking. After proving the booking, they allot a room where ac is not working. Very pathetic. Adv Ganessh Sodani
