Hotel location and surrounding views are excellent. However they have not maintained the property very well. Specially first two blocks near the reception. It has dampness and there are no exhaust fans in bathroom. Because of which there is a foul smell that you can feel even at the reception. Service staff is very rude but the General Manager Mr. Malik is very nice. He is new there and is frustrated with his own hotel staff. If the owner listen to Mr. Malik to maintain the property and fix the service staff, it could be a great hotel. Otherwise it is overpriced for the kind of service provided.

The location of the hotel was stunning! I was stuck between the mountains and the river. The room was quite spacious, clean and comfortable for the three of us. Adil Hussain, the HK Manager, organised a gorgeous bonfire for us which was the icing on the cake! We ordered snacks at the bonfire and he served us there! In the cold winter wind, a warm bonfire was all that we needed. The food that we ordered was also quite delicious! Overall, the stay was absolutely wonderful with us having exactly what we wanted. A special thanks to Mr. Adil Hussain for that wonderful bonfire for us.

This hotel is just an idle place to relax. Location is perfect. View from the hotel is awesome with both water view and mountain view. Food is also reasonable and tasty. They have separate restaurant for pure vegetarian and non-vegetarian as well. Rooms are also very nice. Hospitality is good and Hotel staffs are also courteous. Hotel also arranges for a bon fire with music on request with reasonable charges. Moreover, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rajat Sharma has also been in this hotel. I would recommend to go for this hotel first over any other hotels in Sonmarg.

just returned from an amazing stay at hotel snowland, sonamarg — what a gem! the property is stunning, with breathtaking views of the river and snow-covered glaciers all around. we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which had a jacuzzi, beautiful interiors, and warm heaters — pure comfort. the staff? incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. and the food… absolutely delicious — the chef truly has magic in his hands. a memorable and heartwarming stay!

Though it was far from the Mall road but since the surrounding was so good, so no problem with the location. The hotel is facing a mountain which was covered with a heavy snow, so the view of that mountain was really superb. And the hotel was good and well maintained, and providing an appropriate service via their generous staff. Very well mannered people worked over there. And the room quality was superb, comfortable and clean too. No problem faced at all during the stay.

Hotel is best location and property in Sonamarg but there is problem of maintenances like bath tub waste water flow on floor, bath tap handle is not available to operate hand shower, Generator is not start without request and light cuts every hour, hot water not available because gyeser are not working on generator, all windows of rooms are not opened due to wood enhanced and many sliding door bolts are damaged

We were asked to stay at adjacent Sindh Resort instead of Snow Land which incidentally is also property of same owner ( Snow Land ) . it was a great experience as location of the resort was wonderful . Overall service was good , though rooms are not spacious . You feel good while staying there which is a great plus . Best place to stay while in Sonamarg.

The location is awesome. Overall ambience is very good. But we had a few issues with housekeeping. we had to call several times to get the room cleaned. Also, hit water availability was an issue. It was available only for an hour in the morning and one hour in the evening.

Wow! what an experience. Fabulous Hotel resort, amazing rooms, good food, excellent ambience, awesome staff, extremely courteous, friendly, ever smiling. Chinese food ordered by us was amazing. We had gala time in the resort and our stay was amazingly wonderful.

very good location. Service was also good. rooms were clean. the problem we faced is frequency of load shading which was very frequent and wifi internet does not work even you are connected to it. Otherwise hotel was nice

Snowland is the best hotel to stay in, if you compare it with other hotels of same price range in Sonmarg. I suggest you book a room with River View Balcony to get the best of this hotel. Worth every penny.

We are a family of 4 stayed at Hotel snowland for 3 days. Room was comfortable. Hotel food is pretty decent. Thajiswa glacier is a right opposite to the hotel (1 hr hike).
