I am Biswajit Bordoloi, an entrepreneur shaped by resilience, reinvention, and a constant drive to create meaningful impact. With a background in mechanical engineering, my journey has taken me across industries including software, agribusiness, real estate, and green energy, each phase adding a new layer to my understanding of business and people. I began my career with the Mahindra Group, working on international banking projects, but my real calling lay in building ventures from the ground up. Over the past 15+ years, I have worked at the intersection of commerce and community, founding initiatives like Axum Agri to promote rural entrepreneurship, co-founding Assam Green Tech to drive sustainable agriculture and green energy solutions, and launching Soma Stays V, a growing chain of homestays and zostel-style dorm spaces designed for modern, community-driven travel. My journey has not been linear. I have faced setbacks, including a major disruption during the pandemic, but I chose to rebuild with stronger conviction. From developing the Bordoloi Market Complex to creating new business models that blend profitability with social impact, I believe in turning challenges into stepping stones. Beyond business, I am a storyteller and a singer, deeply connected to my roots. I believe success is not just about personal growth, but about creating opportunities that uplift others along the way.
