Hotel Sri Balaji

It’s an average hotel with overpriced room rates. I booked this hotel for 2 nights and the experience was average, it’s on a very busy lane at the corner. It’s at a walking distance from sri kaal Bhairav temple so that’s an advantage. The rooms were Allright for a short stay the restaurant services were pathetic and always delayed. I would not suggest to use the hotel restaurant. It’s good looking but the service will take forever. The staff at the reception is rather lost and unaware of things. We had an early morning departure at 4 so we cleared the bill one night prior despite all that the guy at the reception next morning wasted our 40 mins asking for bill. We booked a taxi from hotel for a day trip near Varanasi despite knowing that we have elder parents with us who were struggling to walk their driver dropped us mid way in the middle of the market and asked us to walk to the hotel with a lame excuse that its due to traffic and started asking money. We requested him several times to take us to a point where he is going n he denied and later the driver took the taxi with him sitting in the car till hotel while the elders walked all the way. The hotel staff also didn’t intervene and were not of any help in the matter. Overall I will recommend this hotel only if you are looking for an overpriced stay for a short time and need a hotel near sri kaal Bhairav temple. The bottles despite the MRP as 25 were charged at 37 rupee per bottle which isn’t justified at all Customer service wasnt there at all. Delayed food deliveries, unaware and unbothered staff. Extremely over priced 9000+ taxes for a night for such small rooms and small uncomfortable beds. Over priced food in the in-house restaurant with no hospitality. Not recommended

We had bad experience due to followings.1.Provided room is very small with very narrow movement place. 2.Breakfast items is very limited & Starts after 8.30 Am.Morning tea facility not available.Even No stirrer provided for making kettle tea. Food items are also very limited & not tasty. 3.Since breakfast timings was late & we have to check out at 8 am ,we advised them to adjust this cost in our food bills which they refused .Not flexible attitude. location of the hotel is perfect, room is also good but few staff's behavior are not co-operative . Mr. Rathi is a good person. Hotel is under construction so customers feel uncomfortable. Foods are average and prices are under control. I advise don't book the hotel with breakfast because their is no provision for buffet breakfast. The conclusion is that hotel is new under construction and location is almost good nearer to Kashi vishwanath mandir and Kal bhairav.

best location i would say to visit both kaal bhairav ji and kashi Vishwanath ji.. hotel staff is very informative and nice. only thing is the toiletries were not in the room ..and bed was slightly uncomfortable..since it got springs
