Horrible Experience at Hotel O Marigold, Patna – Unsafe & MisleadingI had one of the worst experiences of my life at Hotel O Marigold in Patna. I had booked a Classic Room online through Goibibo, which clearly mentioned amenities like a Western-style washroom, toiletries, and a towel—I got none of these.Instead, I was given a filthy, smelly room with a stinking blanket that reeked like dirty socks, dust-covered surfaces, and no chair to sit on. The washroom was not Western, but Indian-style and extremely unhygienic.To make things worse, I had an early morning exam, and when I got up at 5 AM to take a bath, there was no water in the bathroom. I kept calling the staff repeatedly—no one responded for a long time. When someone finally did, they casually said, “Wait, I’ll start the motor.” I had to wait even longer for the water to come, causing me unnecessary stress before a crucial exam.Despite booking the room for two nights, I checked out the next afternoon because I just couldn’t take it anymore. The hotel staff were rude, especially towards me as an online booking customer. which felt extremely unfair and discriminatory.I was made to wait from 8 PM to 10 PM at night outside the hotel, and as a female traveler , that was not only disrespectful but also deeply unsafe. Goibibo’s customer service was non-responsive and useless during the entire ordeal.This hotel was a complete nightmare. false promises, unclean conditions, rude staff, and unsafe for a female travelers. Do NOT book this hotel. Avoid it at all costs.

I was surprised when was asked for money at reception despite prepaid booking. Initially Receptionist told me that you don’t have any booking and later said that since you have paid less amount through booking you have to pay extra to get room. However, the issue could get resolved only after I got connected to customer support .
