Tapovana The Fern Heritage Resort, Sakleshpur

The road leading to the hotel is very narrow and needs repair and taring. Tar is not laid on the last segment of the road that reaches the Resort. Its manageable with a SUV but small cars with low ground clearance may have issue.The resort is located on the top of the cliff and has a nice scenic view. The view in the backdrop of infinity swimming pool is amazing.The facility is well built but poorly managed.The front desk is very slow, under staffed and also not trained to handle the customers. It took 30min to complete the check-in process though the room was ready. The hotel seems to be understaffed as we noticed many staff doing multi tasking and taking different roles. The Buffet menu at the restaurant lacks the variety, taste and quality of food. The service at the restaurant was good. We ordered lunch from the A' la' carte menu and it was freshly prepared and served to us. We liked the taste of the A' la carte menu and not the buffet bf and buffet dinner. Special thanks to staff - Kiran, Aneesh, and another north girl who made sure the service at the restaurant was good.The resort consists of 36 rooms. Most of the rooms are facing the western ghats with a beautiful view. In our room the telephone was not working and even after reporting several times it was not repaired. Though the facility is well constructed but lacks maintenance. I observed a cost cutting in the maintenance of the resort and the staff is not well trained to manage the resort. The house keeping service is very poor. We could notice the fans and ACs were having lot of dust.the moment we entered the Trishvam Tapovana resort. Though google rates the resort as 4- star and the charges are also as per the 4-star standards. I would say its a 4-start property managed by a 2-star team effectively making it a 2-star rated property. Management needs to relook and make necessary corrections before it is too late.

It is a new property not more than 4-5 months old, some things are still in progress one of which is the road entrance which will give you off road experience as soon as you reach here and you must have good capable vehicle to reach here. Though its a new property but prices of food items etc are of established 5 star properties which will definitely be felt once you start using them. So definitely there is less value for money. Property location is definitely high value and views are surely enjoyable.

TRISHVAM TAPOVANA is a beautiful property, well spaced out and tastefully designed. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the food was great, especially the evening chat and high tea. The entire staff was very courteous and friendly. My family & friends absolutely loved staying here and enjoyed all the activities the resort offered. Going for a hike to Agni Peak and the waterfalls with Mr.Appachu was a wonderful experience, he was very patient and helpful with kids. I am definitely going back here.

it was just an amazing stay, and everytime i am in sakleshpur, this is gonna be my stay. i have planned to get my parents and my husband parents together on a trip to this amazing property. they have such amazing stays and multiple option to choose from. i mean there is not a bit that i did not like. the service, rooms with beautiful scenery, peak point (sunset) the food quality, staff, transportation withing the property is even easy with golfcart and all.i would love to visit again❤️
