The Hunting Lodge - Luxury Resort in Udaipur

Pros : The property is located near the outskirts of Udaipur , making it very peaceful and very near to the nature. The staff was polite. The hotel is VERY WELL MAINTAINED . The bathroom was clean so was the room. They provided us a good bathrooms kit which contained almost everything we needed. The view from the window was spectacular. The swimming pool was clean . The hotel also has the pool table to play with your buddies. The hotel restaurant was good too , the breakfast was very good. Cons : You can not drink outside your room , if you want to drink by the poolside , you need to pay extra . If you'd bring your own liquor , the hotel management will make you pay for that too , if you want to drink outside the room. The hotel staff took a lot of time to give us the access to wifi. On the next day , when I asked the hotel staff for room service (at 9am) , they did not do anything till 2pm. Upon asking why did that take too much time , the hotel staff answered that they were busy servicing other rooms but I and my friends were all aware that there were only 4-5 occupied room in the entire hotel out of which 2 rooms were booked by me so how can it take 5hrs to service two rooms?! The taxes levied on food items are heavy. In a nutshell , my overall experience was great and I did enjoy my stay at this facility. I would surely recommend this hotel.

The most pathetic service ever in Udaipur, this resort should not be visited by anyone, more over the staff response is pathetic and they are not ready to co-operate in anything. we had booked elite package with Breakfast and dinner, for breakfast they hardly gave us 3 things in the buffet, and dinner buffet was also not served, they told us that they have low occupancy hence they cannot serve us buffet. The ala-carte menu also was not given what all we asked nothing was there in the menu, and they are literally not concerned. Whatever we asked them to make they simply say we cannot make it and and top of it they arguing with us. The plates and cups were also unhygienic and we asked them to change it then also they were totally dirty. There were literally lip stick and dirty marks on the same. Also the manager did not come to meet us on top of that he is calling us that we need to come down and meet them. Seriously this was the worst experience ever. They have made us suffer and we were 2 families with 1 kid each. And the hospitality is a complete zero here. The manager was not ready to co-operate at all. My family needs a complete refund on the same. We also asked them that we do not need dinner for both days and we asked for refund but they denied.

Staying at The Hunting Lodge was an outstanding experience! Property is just awesome situated in middle of forest area surrounded by mountains and green lush. Reaching at the property is all together a different experience. It was just awesome when it comes to cleanliness, variety of food, quality of food and taste, hospitality, on ground crews are grommed so nice to serve their customers to satisfaction. We strongly recommend stay at The Hunting Lodge. Keep it up 👍

Excellent new property on the outskirts of the city👏🏻. Only drawback is connectivity to the city. If you are travelling with your own car this is best.
