The Orion Plaza - Nehru Place

We are Sr. Citizen couple and were on fun trip.The Hotel is located at a prime location just opposite to Nehru Place on way to IGI Airport on the service lane. It’s a quiet place and has stand alone building. The car parking is on GF with reception at First Floor. The Hotel I is an amazing place an our experience began with a warm welcome an easy allotment of ready room after a brief check in.The front desk staff is very polite and helpful. Our entire luggage was picked at GF and brought to 3 rd Floor room by the attendant. The room was clean and well maintained as evident from the photos attached. Initially it had a very damp smell but on reporting it was promptly attended by the staff with deodos and room freshners. Entire dmp stink had vanished. The room is large with TV, with working intercom, clean linens, Kettle ready with necessary Tea/Coffee/Crème saches. To mention there are no leaking taps and basins in the WC. Hot water is available upto 1000 hrs in the morning. Hotel has nice kitchen restaurant with expert Chef. We didn’t have much hunger so in the night settled with Alu Parantha and Munchow veg soup with complimentary dahi and pickle. Alu parantha is suggested to be improved being stuffed with plain potato but no condiments like jeera, mirch powder and to be garnished with coriander. Soup was extraordinary with no overload of soya sauce or dose of green chillies. The hotel is friendly for disabled to go upto lift. We had to check out at 100 noon but we were cordially allowed to keep our luggage in safe custody and comfortably seated on sofa. Ours flight was in the evening so we had to pass time for quite sometime which was kindly permitted by the front desk staff. The location is such that the subway to cross the ring road for Nehru Place shopping is very close. Taxi is arranged on request from/to airport.

We booked a family room and it was big and spacious, it had 2 rooms and both had double beds. Breakfast was not as extravagant as we thought it would be for the price we paid.There were very few options in Breakfast buffet.One additional thing that I would like to bring into attention is that they give 2 complimentary bottles (Bisleri) of 500ml each but it you want to purchase bottles from them then they would only sell expensive water bottles of a different brand and refuse to sell the bisleri ones.If they sell the expensive ones then they should also handout the same ones as complimentary.We faced an issue late at night because of this.

Had a Good and comfortable stay . Recption people were very polite and assited us good . Mostly for business purpose travel. The price of room is high due to area otherwise the room is not so special . And main issue was that room was not soundproof at all . The food is very good and affordable price . Walking distance to main road and nehru enclave . Also the kalkaji market is 1 km from the hotel . Overall we had a good stay . The staff is very helpful and good behaviour . Looking forward to more orion stays .

My recent stay at The Orion was satisfactory. Room was neat and clean but little over priced. I had to stay here 1 night so we ignored the pricing factor.If you don't have an issue with the pricing ,you can go for this hotel. Food is average but costly.
