The PHEASANT INN-2 BHK Homestay

Really Thanks to Mr. Nanjappa and Mr. Machaiyya [Owner] for the stay and courtesy. Soo caring and good hospitality. Coming to review/experience of the Home Stay. It is a Typical old House but neat and clean (some places only you can see water leakage patch marks). Regarding the scenic view which is shown in the photo gallery, can be seen once guest come outside the house. From inside the house you cannot see since there is no balcony. There are sufficient amount of beds where 8 people also can easily accommodate. even in Hall (living room) you can have 2 double cots as show in the gallery, additionally inside one bedroom 1- double cot and 1- single cot which is sufficient for a big family. Apart from that inside the Kitchen also you can find one single cot with small attached toilet (Indian style and only for lean person) where we can use it in case of many people. This is the Homestay type accommodation better to take food outside (hotels/restaurant) only. if you bring/order from outside, you will not find space to sit and eat. I felt that if the hall is not turned to a bed room then it would have been very spacious and comfortable. Since in the Room Details it is mentioned as "Basic Bathroom Amenities", one bathroom for bathing and Don't expect Hot water mixture tab with shower, Eclectic Geyser (only 6L gas geyser) and Towel. but you will be provided with 2 big buckets one for collecting hot water and another for bathing. if elderly people you better do the bucket water transfer service. But I felt difficult to handle the water buckets shifting since I used to bath using the shower. Finally, it is Typical Home Stay type accommodation, do not expect like Professional Hotels/Boarding Lodging facilities. Pros: Great Hospitality, caring Cons: it is not 2BHK (2Bed+Hall+Kitchen) it is simply 2BK (no Hall) & price is too high. Take care! Have a wonderful stay!!

Due to the long weekend, there was no availability of rooms in Coorg, but GoIbibo and Pheasant Inn owner Nanjappa has ensured we got an alternative comfortable stay. Mr Nanjappa has been very courteous, arranged lunch for us, helped to book Jeep drive to peak point and the falls. He has gone above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable and comfortable stay. Would certainly recommend Pheasant Inn to everyone including families. We had an awesome stay.

Worst ever experience. There were three leeches in the homestay. I was shown Pheasant Inn, but given something else.

Amazing hospitality and excellent customer service. We will visit this place again soon.
