I stayed at Utthunga Homestay during my visit to Coorg, and it was truly a delightful experience. This was my first time booking a homestay as I usually prefer hotels, but I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The breakfast served was delicious, and even though I’m not typically a fan of South Indian cuisine, I really enjoyed the food here. It changed my perspective entirely. The owner, Sachin, was incredibly warm and welcoming. His hospitality added a personal touch to the stay, making it all the more enjoyable. The location of the homestay is another big plus—peaceful yet conveniently located. After staying here, my mindset about hotels being better than homestays has completely changed. I would highly recommend Utthunga Homestay to anyone planning a trip to Coorg. It's an experience worth having!

In just a few words " a lovely place to relax " . Rooms were clean and hygienic with hot water availability and great hospitality. So big thanks to Sachin. Homestay is around 2 kms away from bus stop .The view from the home stay window is awesome many places are very nearby(in 6kms range ) (madikeri town , Abbey falls, Raja seat). Other important places are just around 1 hour drive . Coming to food, the in-house cook is just fantastic, his Indian food is simple, perfect balance of spices and warm. I read that the emotions of the person cooking, reflect in the taste. The taste of the food, just made me feel at home away from home. So in short a fantastic place to stay . Wonderful people(Sachin) to take care of you in a fantastic setting. So giving it a five star from my end :) Nice view from room, all facilities available 24/7, etc

I have been to coorg more than 6 7 times and have stayed in multiple hotels/homestays/resorts. This stay will make sure your money is well spent in all manners. The caretaker is humble guy will help you with everything possible. the rooms and washrooms r clean. the seperated space near the bog window will give you a full balcony exp with privacy. the view is amazing make sure you book hill view room not garden view. common area is clean and spacious. breakfast was decent and was available for decent addon amount. connectivity is good. swiggy zomato available. hardly 1 -1.5 km for main Madikeri market. If you are looking for a budget stay go blindly with this. Car parking is available (open car parking but inside premises).

Best Homestay to stay along with greenary in Coorg. Clean, Hygenic, Superb Maintenance. Manager Sachin helped all asks. Delicious unlimited breakfast. Copy paste of Home Food. Brand new facility. Homestay on the Road. Landmark: Opp Oxyrich Hotel I would rate 10/10 in all aspects. Common dining area superb. RO water available. Geyser is working. AC is working diligently. Lounge and parking area is good Best to stay 2 Nights 3 days. It would be nice if Check-in be changed to 12 Noon Safe and Secure. All needs addressed immediately.

Uttunga Homestay is a great place to stay for those who want to enjoy the beauty of nature. The property is well-maintained and the rooms are clean. The owners are a lovely family and treated us with a lot of affection and respect. The property is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a peaceful environment. Rooms are neat and clean, caretaker Sachin was very helpful and polite, served home cooked breakfast was fresh and had great taste especially sambhar was delicious cooked in coorg style. Homestay is less than 2 kms from the main market. Ample of parking space and beautiful location. Amazing view from the room, we had booked a premium room category. Homestay has all possible appliances like fridge, microwave oven, aquaguard & electric kittle

I went with my senior-citizens' parents and stayed in Standard room. Newly built rooms with all the amenities like hot drinking water, geyser, etc., mountain and valley view from the room, delicious and homely food prepared by our host Sachin, made the stay worth-while. Also, he is very courteous in helping us out esp. when our car broke down and he and his friends helped us in getting it repaired. Would definitely recommend this place!

Property is centrally located and hospitality was very good. breakfast was very good. only reason that I am giving 4 star instead of 5 star is it had lot of bug due to its location and which were not avoidable. also they have to learn a bit about hotel industry as when I gave keys for cleaning towels were not changed only rooms were cleaned.

It's a homestay located on the highway and pretty close to Raja's seat. But if you ask me I had a far better sunset view right from the balcony of my room. The rooms were Monica clean. They allow outside food and offer a dining space with microwave and cutleries to use. So pretty much sorted and laid back stay to choose.

Sachin is a great host. Takes care of your stay related requirements very well. Room is maintained very well. Mountains view is wonderful from the room. Small improvement will help a lot. Just create more parking area. Nice place and our overall experience during our visit was excellent.

The extraordinary view of madikeri hills from the room and the spacious room. Undoubtedly the service, best of all my stays. These have been the best of my experience. One thing to insist. Do try their complimentary food. The quantity of maintenance and view from the room.

Property is just 3 km away from the bus stand and location was really good. Staff were polite and were answering the questions. There is no food available in the hotel but swiggy and zomato were available.
