VENKYS STAY INN

We had worst experience at Venky Stay Inn. We had booked a suite room with king size bed. Upon arriving, first they gave us (group of 4 people) a normal double bed room. Upon enquiring that the amenities we saw in booking were not there, the receptionist told that this room is just to wait for sometime until they get the suit room ready (they could have told this when we arrived itself, but they didn't). Again after sometime we went to the reception and enquired whether the suite room is ready, only then they showed the suite room. Now the suit room also had the same double bed instead of King size bed as indicated in booking. Again we had to show them that this was not the one we had booked, and we (group of 4 people) cannot have stay in their suit room. Frustrated we went to the reception, to ask what alternative they have. Now they said, they can give two separate rooms with double bed, which was fine for us. But asked us to pay extra 1800 as the price was higher on that day. We had to argue again on why we should pay more, if they are cheating us on the booking we made. The owner was there in the reception, and only asked the receptionist to ask for more money. Finally another guy at reception said that they will give separate rooms if we are ok. All this could have been avoided in the beginning itself if they honestly said the suite room could not accomodate 4 people and had asked us if we were ok with 2 separate rooms! After all this when we got the room, the toiletries and water was not there. By this time we were expecting some issue to be there in the room we got! Exactly the same happened and in one of the rooms, it was not possible to change the temperature once it was lowered and had to be switched off late night so as to sleep! We didn't get the room we booked, and a train wreck of problems in getting rooms to stay, even though we had paid the full amount in advance.

The hotel is located very near to the temple. I checked in late at night. There is an underground parking. The rooms are okay. There were mosquitoes in the rooms. Had to ask for All Out. One of the rooms AC not working. So, the room was changed. Room service is available. The food is brought from near by restaurant. One of the biggest drawbacks is the bathrooms are not ventilated. Overall, it's an okay experience.

Everything is good here. but I am giving 4 star is because of they not given bathroom doormat..But staff is polite and rooms r very clean and hygiene and location is very near to all places. in auto it is minimum fare. value for money.

Good location but not properly managed. Provided room was full with baby cocroches. Confusion over complimentary breakfast. washbasin clogged. Not at all recommend. better options available nearby with better prices.
