A Memorable Stay in the Heart of Old Kashi We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming property in Varanasi. The location is quite convenient—after arriving at Varanasi railway station, we took a cab straight to Vishwanath Mishthan Bhandar in Vishveshwar Ganj, where the property caretaker, Sahil, warmly received us. From there, it’s a short walk through the narrow, vibrant lanes of old Kashi, which instantly gives you a feel of the city’s timeless essence. The property itself is well-maintained and thoughtfully set up. On the first floor, there are two cozy bedrooms (both with AC), a clean bathroom, and a hall with a sofa and table to relax. One of the rooms even has a balcony overlooking the lively surroundings. The second floor features a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table, a nice seating area, and even a jhoola (swing) to unwind. There’s another bathroom here, and both bathrooms come with geysers and western toilets. There's also a washing machine available for use, making longer stays very comfortable. Plus, a maid is available for kitchen help, making the stay even more convenient. Overall, the property is well-suited for families. What made our experience extra special was Sahil’s hospitality. Not only did he ensure our comfort at the property, but he also personally accompanied us to all major temples. With his help, we had smooth darshan at Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Kaal Bhairav Temple, Sankat Haran Mata Mandir, and Mahamrityunjaya Mahadev Temple (which also houses a sacred well of Dhanvantri Ji). Overall, it was a peaceful and spiritually fulfilling stay, enhanced by the warmth and support of the caretakers. Highly recommended if you're looking for a home-like stay experience with the soul of Varanasi!
