The stay at Vilasam was very pleasant. Starting from the staff in the reception (Pradeep) was very polite and helpful. They were very accommodating to allow us for early check-in. The room and washroom was well maintained. Rooms have AC and hot water throughout the day. With respect to the location of the property, it is located in the prime spot of the mahabalipuram town in walkable distance to all major tourist attractions. They also have a good veg restaurant just beside the hotel.

Highly recommended. The best budget accommodation in Mahabalipuram. Right at the centre of the town. Spacious room, good dedicated staffs, well maintained property.. Clean linen and clean toilet, hot water 24 hours, AC, TV, Good restaurant.. Everything seems to be perfect. Highly recommended for solo travelers and family

The stay was really good. No much of disturbance, easy accessible all the sight seeing. Good stay for family and couple. The hotel is located in the main junction. Walkable disturbance for food, shopping, beach, tourist attraction. The rooms were good and clean.

Value for money, nothing to point out, everything is perfect, all Monuments are 1-5 mins walking distance. They have restaurant beside the property which serve delicious south Indian food. One suggestion can be, they can start room service with the restaurant

The location of this property was perfect. Good veg restaurant and Bus depot was next to this property. It was located at walking distance from Shore temple.Staff was very helpful. Pleasant experience. The room was big and it was very neat and clean.

Good location - close to beach and UNESCO heritage site(Krishna butterball)Economical, hygienic and safe choice for the given price. I opted to eat out at restaurants, so don't know about the availability or quality of food.

The place is close to the Mahabalipuram beach (~5min walking). Also it is just adjacent to the bus stop. Good location. The only drawback was there was no internet in the first floor. Otherwise, a good place to stay.

Great place to stay in Mahabalipuram. the receptionist, Meenakshi, is welcoming and helpful. Rooms are good. The location is walking distance to the ancient monuments. Both veg and non veg food are available nearby.

Nice hotel. Room condition is very good. All the tourist places are walkable distance from the hotel. Only one problem was that communication with hotel staffs because they don't understand hindi.
