We stayed here one night with my family for one day.Here's my experience. The location of hotel is very good. It's situated in the banks of periyar river near Thattekkad bird sanctuary. We had booked a room with balcony and river view. When we checked in the lock and room telephone was not working. After 15 minutes they could repair the phone but phone was still not working hence the provided us the suite room which is much bigger in size. Cleanliness of the room has to be improved. Whenever we call the intercom nobody responds to phonecalls so every time we had to call the landline number of the hotel to get something done. Behaviour of staff is fine but the arrangements is not in place as they said they lack staff post lockdown. Hence we had a tough time is settings things in place after calling multiple times to fix things which are not in place. Food quality is below average and quite expensive. They provided us a simple complementary breakfast with Poori and bhaji. Overall the experience at the hotel is below average except the location, ambience and construction.
