Wind Valley Home Stay - It actually justify it's name , a home Stay in a wind Valley surrounded by rare natural flora and fauna. We four people (2 couples) went to this place for 2 days in jan. last week and we have thoroughly enjoyed this trip. This is a home Stay in a small village - Ramakkalmedu, hence expecting all kind of amenities would be cheating. But all the basic amenities were available and whatever extra was required from our side , Vinayak (Home Stay Manager) tried his best to make it available for us. Talking about Vinayak , he suggested us an excellent plan for 2 days and helped us to execute the same . He is a true Trip planner and provides honest guidance . He arranged and accompanied us for 1. Early morning Ramakkalmedu Ranges (Rama Rock) trekking 2. Tortoise Rock Trekking and visit 3. Wind mills ground 4. Thrilling Jeep ride, I would say Roller coaster jeep ride on mountains 5. Idduki Water reservoir visit followed by a bamboo forest visit. Vinayak arranged Breakfast, Dinner and Lunch for us which was good. Overall I would strongly recommend this place for peaceful and splendid stay. Vinayak, my friend you are a true **, appreciate your services. Keep up the great work

The stay was awesome. Facilities given in the hotel are good. Climatic condition is also good. Hotel staffs are friendly. In the morning I planned to visit Ramakkalmedu but hotel manager arranged one off road trekking towards amakkallu, it was a nice experience. Actually dinner was not in the package but he arranged homely food at reasonable price. My overall rating is above average

The stay was very pleasant, felt like home away from home , I was there with my sisters and brothers , owner of the property Mr Vinayak was very friendly and took us to the main spot s by jeep , for the extra requirements he charged only very little and he gave us a bottle of home made pickle for free of cost. Like to visit this place again and will be strongly recommend to others

This homestay is around 45 kms from thekkady, so returning to the homestay after day long thekkady sightseeing is hectic. Hence please make sure to plan your trip and stay accordin to time available. Otherwise, overall a nice place to stay. Nice view from a nearby point Can be seen from the photos provided. Hosts are friendly and helpful.

we had the great stay at wind valley homestay, the owner Mr. Vinayak was very helpfull, food was very delicious, jeep safari to the Ramkkalmedu top station was awesome, it was a lifetime experience, also view from this top point is very picturesque, trekking on the rock was very exciting, overall it was a great stay

very nice hotel and vinay who is taking care of tourist is a nice guy and so much helpful in all the aspects. wind mills are very near the hotel and ramakkalmedu view point is just @1km away from the hotel which is very nice and can see the sun rise from a mountain cliff.

1. Home stay is in good place and hospitality was also good. 2. If you plan to visit Periyar Tiger reserve, i suggest you to accommodate here because it is near to that place and a top view is 1km from the home stay. 3. Overall i can say its a wonderful experience here
