It's a place with beautiful surroundings but very dissatisfied with room service in terms of cleaning and bedsheet change in terms of housekeeping in terms of water facility and in terms of bathroom toiletries Their bedsheets are shrinked with holes and no water in the morning. Sometimes there is a problem of hot water also. There toilet flush is not working properly, very low pressure and long refill time. Other than that intercom is missing in the room because every time we need to call to manger for every issue, There were no executive at reception area most of the time. My room bulb was not in working condition so they respond that please adjust with low light. There is damp in the room Need to clean room, more dust is on windows cupboards and gargbage in the almirah.

Very bad hospitality and rude behaviour. There is no welcoming of guests and also very bad service. Worst experience, rooms are completely different from the referred pictures.staff n people staying there do not have basic etiquettes to talk to guest, bad smell was there near kitchen n in rooms. unhygienic. no details was given about rules n regulations during booking time n later after payment when we checked in they gave such details which were not acceptable for us to stay. they should have provide details at the time of enquiry only. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. Will not recommend anyone to visit this hostel

the overall experience of zostel was not nice... as what we saw in the pictures it was not at all like that... the room decor was not at all good... no security as the whole staff was living downstairs...the reception was downstairs and we need to call on the mobile to call them... they were not providing the heaters also... as they told us that all were damaged... the overall campus was not maintained... no service in the rooms... if we want something we need to go downstairs and the staff were chilling in the game room near the heater... so overall it was a poor experience...

literally the staff behaviour is so rude ,they are not responding properly geyser is not working ,cockroaches are everywhere in the room ,in the bed too washroom is smelling ...food is not value for money ..alcohol bottles are everywhere in the room n in dining area too dirty room mainly the owner is not cooperative at all waited for onion as salad after serving food 1 hour staff management is also not gud ..even rude to the height very disappointed ...they even doesn't listens to you ....irony is groupism happens inside the zostel

It was my first experience in zostel nd also in mukhteswar which went phenomenal.I went there for one day but after spending my day we really wanted to spend the entire week.I have never experienced such kind of hospitality the staff was polite and especially the guy who manages Vinay he literally made sure that we have wonderful experience at Zostel.Aunty Dhaba's food was also good yeah it could be bit cheaper but overall experience was awesome.I will ask every traveller to visit this place you are going to have lots of Fun.

The stay wasn't worth it at all.The check in time was 12 but we got the room at 12:40 and the people here weren't even apologetic at first. The food is average and the service is not up to the mark. Booked a deluxe room and it was worse than the standard room. The bathroom flush wasn't working and there were no toiletries, they don't give you a towel, and even the bucket was given after calling them and it was smelling. All the lights in the room weren't working. I won't recommend it to anyone.

I have stayed in a few hotels in Uttarakhand but the location of this hostel is by far the most enchanting of all. I found it easily though it is not situated in the main road. The staff is cordial and very polite. Though the price of food is little high but aunty and her supporting staff cooks one of the delicious meals. If you are travelling solo or are a group of friends, visit this hostel and its nearby locations once for some peace of mind. You will not regret it.

The hotel is good and is a budget hotel with spacious room and an attached washroom. The lady owner guided us happily on mobile how to reach Mukteshwar and their hotel from nainital. On reaching there we met the caretaker Mr Ramesh. We had our dinner at night and breakfast in the morning the next day i.e. on 24th Nov 2018. We enjoyed sunrise in the morning from the balcony of our room. it was a nice stay overall.

People like me who are travelling solo and who need a peaceful sleep after 6-7 hours of ride , please don't stay in a place like zostel , why because the moment you reach the place , your sleep will be ruined by the whispering/laugh/talk etc of other groups sharing the same room . Other amazing location , amazing beauty , amazing Mukteshwar

totally enjoyed my stay. this zostel is at a beautiful location, very calm, very peaceful and they have a cute dog as well. buffet is provided in the morning and evening. great food. there was a movie night too in the common room, everyone was having fun. neat and clean rooms. will definitely come back.

Manager Rohit is not able to manage the things, nothing is good in zostel - worst food quality, unhygiene, pathetic service. Only good thing was there is Nature & View. If you need to spoil your trip - Pls visit in this place. Nearest Hotel Nirvana giving us everything - which we want.

Stayed here from Oct 29-Nov 1, awesome location with valley view from rooms on the balcony. Nice homely food from in house aunty's kitchen. Did roadside birding as well close proximity to waterfall Mukteshwar.

The stay was great, the staff was also supportive. However the washroom was quite dirty and the flow of water via taos was minimalistic. It could really use some work on it.

It's a good experience with zostel. They took us to a localide house for the dinner. From food to trek to reach to that house... everything was just perfect.
