Web check-in and verification
Singapore Airlines offers its customers the facility to Web check-in from their computer or mobile devices 48 to 1.5 hours before their flight departure. They can also print their boarding pass or download it to their mobile device before heading to the airport. Passengers can proceed directly to the Immigration counter if they don’t have luggage and if they don’t require a travel document/visa/credit card verification at the check-in counter at the airport.
Counter check-in can be done if passengers have a confirmed flight booking. The check-in counter opening time is between one hour to 40 minutes before departure, depending on the airport. Passengers can beat the queue at the airport with the convenient kiosk check-in services, available at many airports.
Baggage Allowance
The checked baggage allowance is based on the weight or piece concept, depending on the final destination. When any passenger books a flight with Singapore Airlines, the free baggage allowance is indicated on the ticket itself. For an economy class flight ticket, to and from all destinations, except the US, the maximum weight is 30 kg and the sum of length, width and height of each checked baggage must not exceed 158cm.
When flying with Singapore Airlines, passengers can carry up to two bags into the cabin depending on their class of travel. In addition, passengers must also be able to stow their baggage securely in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front. The cabin bags should be within 7 kg each and sum of length, width and height of each piece should not exceed 115 cm.

Passport and verification
Each passenger must hold a valid passport and visa(s), to be allowed entry into each destination on the flight itinerary. Singapore Airlines cannot be held responsible if a passenger is denied entry and/or deported by any local authority.
In-flight services
Singapore Airlines’ Economy Class seats are designed to give passengers more personal space even if the seat in front is reclined. If anyone wants more legroom, he/she can choose the extra legroom seats with wider seat pitch, located near the exits. The airline also gives passengers the choice to opt for forward zone seats, located closer to the doors.
Singapore Airlines also makes sure that in-flight meals are prepared to suit passengers’ needs. Whether for religious, dietary or allergy reasons, or simply for a teething toddler, all that a passenger needs to do is make a request from the list of Special Meals.
The ‘Book the Cook’ service is also offered in Suites, First Class and Business Class, and for all meal services except for Continental Breakfast and Refreshments. Passengers can choose from a wide selection of meals, including creations inspired by an International Culinary Panel, up to 24 hours before their flight. 'Book the Cook' choice will then be served as the main course of their inflight menu.
Singapore Airlines also keeps passengers connected to the ground even while they are 30,000 feet up in the air. The convenience of inflight connectivity is offered on their Airbus A350, A380, Boeing 777-300ER and 787-10 aircrafts. Passengers can also watch movies and play games for their entertainment.
