About Trujet
Previously known as Turbo Megha Airways, Trujet is a regional airline with its headquarters in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It received approval to operate Scheduled Air Transport (Regional) Services from Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India in July 2014. Trujet is a subsidiary of Turbo Aviation, an aircraft maintenance and ground-handling services company based in Hyderabad. The company has identified 18 Tier II cities in southern India as Trujet’s prospective destinations in its new regional network. Presently, the airline is providing ground handling services to Spice jet at nine airports in southern part of India. As of July 2015, Trujet operates ATR 72-500 Aircraft. With Telugu superstar Ram Charan as its promoter, Trujet is sure to make it big in the aviation industry.

For those who are travelling on domestic route through Trujet airlines are allowed to carry hand baggage worth 7 kgs whereas the check-in baggage limit stands at 20kg per person. Passengers can carry up to 20kgs extra which is charges at Rs. 250 per kilogram while travelling through TruJet.
The airline has also specified the dimensions of the luggage for carry-in baggage, which as per the policy should not exceed 55cmX35cmX25cm, the same for check-in baggage is 158cm (62inch) in length, width and height. Women’s handbag and small laptop bags are also allowed in addition to the carry-in and check-in baggage. None of them should weight more than 3kg and 100ml liquid container is also allowed to be carried in a transparent plastic bag. For infant travel bookings only carry-in baggage is allowed weighing up to 7kgs for domestic routes. Check-in baggage is not allowed for infants, but those who are travelling with infants are allowed to carry a stroller or a pram with no additional charge.
Web Check-in and Inflight Menu
Web check-in: To avoid hassle and save time of its passengers, TruJet allows web check-in facility through their travel portal. The web check-in starts 24 hours prior to the actual departure time of the flight and ends 90 minutes before the departure. Passengers who have made reservations for a TruJet flight can do web check-in either through the GoIbibo website to avoid hassle at the last moment.
In-flight menu: The inflight menu of TruJet airlines is kids friendly with sandwiches, cakes, snacks and more on their menu, the airlines is also flexible in taking special requests from the passengers basis their dietary or religious preferences. For check-in at airports the domestic check-in counters closes 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the flight and the boarding gate closes 25minutes before the departure. The check-in counter closes 75 minutes before the scheduled departure for international flights and boarding gate closes 25 minutes before the departure.
It is advisable to keep your itinerary handy when checking-in at the airport. Sometimes you may be asked to provide your credit and debit card details which was used for booking the tickets along with a photo identification at the time of check-in. You must carry the below documents at the time of checking-in for verification purposes:
- Passport.
- Driving License.
- Election Photo Identification Card.
- A PAN card provided by the Income Tax Department.
- Photo Identity Card.
- School ID card or any other photo ID for students
- A valid birth certificate of an infant must be provided for age proof.
You can take the boarding pass from the indigo counters at the airport, however, it is advisable to take a printout of your itinerary beforehand to avoid queues at the airport.
