Milan is the capital city of Lombardy in the northern part of Italy. A historical city dating back to 600 BCE, it is one of the most prosperous commercial hubs in Italy and is also considered to be one of the important fashion capitals of the world.

• The Historic Centre, also known as Centro Storico, comprises of the finest iconic landmarks in Milan. The Milan Duomo is a 14th century cathedral built in the style of Gothic architecture and is considered to be the 5th largest church in the world.
