About Jazz Airlines
Jazz Airlines LP formerly began as Air Canada Regional Inc in January 2001. It was a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Canada and combined the individual strengths of the four regional airline brands – Air BC, Air Nova, Air Ontario, and Canadian Regional. The process of combining and consolidating all these brands was completed in 2002. Jazz Airline became public on February 2006 and Jazz Air Income Fund completed a corporate conversion to Chorus Aviation Inc. which is a dividend-paying holding company that owns Jazz Aviation LP.
Jazz is one of the largest regional airlines in the world and serves over 80 destinations in Canada and the United States. It provides customers with broad and seamless connections to the worldwide networks of Air Canada and the Star Alliance. All this is being done under the brand name Air Canada Express which is formerly known as Air Canada Jazz. Jazz Airline has the most flights to communities in Canada.
For all those who enjoy travelling on their own schedule Jazz Airlines offers private charters throughout North America. It also possesses highly skilled workforce which is trained in the operations of one of the world’s largest fleets of regional aircraft. The airlines also offers services to other airline operators. These include dispatching services, flight load planning, training and consulting on flight operations.
The headquarters of Jazz Airline Lp is in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It has its regional offices and operational bases in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal.
