    Pen Air or Peninsula Airways is an American airline which is head-quartered in Alaska, USA. The Airlines was founded in 1955 by Orin Seybert, a 19 year old.Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport serves as the main base for PenAir, Boston Logan International Airport is a hub for the airline.

  • PenAir's fleet consists of 15 in-service Saab 340B aircraft. The fleet serves 16 different destinations and the airlines is second largest commuter airline in Alaska.

PenAir Baggage Information


Checked Baggage:

Each passenger travelling with PenAir in the 1st class is entitled to carriage of free checked baggage. Checked baggage must not weigh more than 23 Kg and the dimensions of the checked baggage piece should be less than 158cm (Length+Width+Height). For passengers travelling in 2nd, 3rd and 4th class, the baggage charges per piece are $25, $50 and $75 respectively. Any baggage weighing more than the standard weight or exceeding the standard dimensions, will incur additional charges. In case a baggage weighs more than 46 Kg, the baggage will not be accepted as checked baggage and will be transported as cargo.

Hand Baggage:

Passengers travelling with PanAir are allowed to carry hand baggage along with the checked baggage. The dimensions of the hand baggage must be less than 16*16*9 Inches. A personal item such as a purse/laptop case is also allowed.
