Tarom is the oldest operating Romanian airline, it was established on 18th September in 1954. The Company is largely owned by Romanian Government, 97.05 percent to be precise. Tarom Airline joined Skyteam, an air alliance, on 25th June in 2010. Tarom boasts a fleet of 24 aircraft as of now.

Tarom Airlines allows 23 Kg baggage per passenger travelling in the Economy Class. The dimensions of the baggage must not be more than 158 cm (length+height+width). Passengers travelling in Business class of Tarom Airlines are allowed 3 standard baggage units, each weighing up to 23 Kg. Frequent flyers get an added advantage in form of one extra baggage unit which they can carry in any class Tarom Airlines.

Hand Baggage:

Passengers travelling in Tarom Airlines are entitled to carry a hand baggage. This hand baggage must not exceed dimensions : ( 35*30*20) cm. The total weight of the hand baggage must be lesser than 10 Kg.
